Hotel Quinto Sole - 77940 Mahahual

The dinner was very good, the weather is awesome and the beach is very quiet, its location is a good one because is near downtown. The service is OK, maybe it lacks of a little bit of aperture for events at night on the beach.

Unfortunately I cannot put less than 1 star. The hotel is advertised as a 4 stars hotel. Even though we had to take shower with cold water. The one of the shower towels was dirty. The one of the beach towels was also dirty. The wifi was broken when we arrived and has never been fixed.

Food hit and miss. Good location. Small beach area. Courteous albeit inexpert staff. Reflects the low standards most visitors have when coming here. Do not expect top notch hospitality service and you'll be satisfied. Beautiful ocean and surrounding areas. Out of the way.

scam sham! paid for room but none available upon arrival. no managrment. never answer phone calls or emails. refuse to give facturas. stay far far away from this black hole

We had a great time enjoying the water and beautiful beach. Waiter's were ready to fill your drinks before they were empty. Kind friendly service on a beautiful beach. They were battling a sea weed problem from all the storms. They were working on try to keep beach clean. Kudos...

We booked through AirBnB, and our room was nothing like the listing. The room was uncared for- layers of dust on surfaces, etc. Our stay was meant to come with breakfast, but the restaurant was closed. Ultimately, the listing needs to be updated as it was misrepresented. With that said, the staff were kind and tried their best to improve our stay

Not bad but not excellent either and far from what you would expect for a 4 star hotel standard rating.

Only a word can summarise this 2 days spent at Quinto Sol: disappointment. Why? 1- For a supposed 4 stars hotel, the standards are very very low, even though the receptionists are welcoming and smiling they only remind you the rules and the cost that you would need to pay to enjoy anything at the hotel… 2- The restaurant and the beach clubs are apparently separated from the hotel as you can’t put any bill on your room, moreover you have to pay only in cash which is a bit annoying in Mahahual as the nearest cash machine is far away. 3- The “waiter” of the restaurant and the beach club are even not aware of who we are as they reminded my girlfriend 2 times that if we plan on staying at the beach club for the day we must spend at least 500$ MXN. The thing is that we were guests and the beach club was hence included. 4- Breakfast was not included whilst it was mentioned when we booked on booking.com 5- The room was a bit dirty and the housekeeper turn the Air Co off during the days whereas it’s 35 degrees outside, not pleasant when you are back in your room
