Definitely a good hotel that could use some improvement maintenance wise but other than then that the staff was very friendly.

Great location, rooms very clean and updated. If you want to go to sleep early, get a room in the back and sacrifice a beautiful view of the plaza, if you want to enjoy the view, beware of the late night festive atmosphere, aka, noise. Beautiful balconies. Safe area, losts of places to eat.

Love this place. We stayed in a room overlooking the jardin. A bit loud, but the attentive staff, excellent restaurant, low rate and perfect location made it worth it.

The location was very good. However it was hard to find by car. We needed to pay a parking lot because the one offered by the hotel was full. When we arrived to the room there was a strong/deep smell to perfume, we asked for a clean/change of room or even a refund, but the staff was inflexible. The next morning we waited for the manager more than 20 minutes for make the complaint but he never appeared. Another facts is that the WiFi didn’t work properly and outside is really noisy at nights.

If you want to be in the center of entertainment stay here. I don’t recommend it If you want peace and quiet. The mornings are peaceful but by 5:00 the party starts and keeps going until 3 am. It’s not too bad if it’s cool enough to close your doors and turn on the fan. The location is great. We could walk to many restaurants, shopping and galleries. I recommend a king size room with 2 or 3 balconies. Otherwise it was a very small room. We were on the corner with 2 balconies. The view was fantastic and we had fun people watching. We could even watch the mini plays from our balcony that the theater put on every evening. The reception staff and housekeeping are very friendly. I especially liked Oscar. For an additional charge they will pick you up at the airport.

Pros: Right next to a lively plaza (Jardin Union), Juarez Theatre, tram to the Pupila Monument, and tour guides; has a restaurant, wifi, balcony (exterior rooms like mine) and airport shuttle service $600 MXN. Cons: No A/C (but there was a tower fan and the room didn't get hot in July, so...), no mini fridge (so buy ice next door at Oxxo if you need it), the lively plaza can be loud if you're trying to sleep early (ear plugs), and it was weird sitting on the toilet as it was right up to the sink (if you're a tall or voluptuous person good luck). But, I would stay here again.

Stay somewhere else if you can. I'm sorry but our stay was not great at all, very informal the receptionists in all the shifts will not greet you at all, We could actually say they were rude to us, every time we had a question it was short rude answers, our bedroom was not ready when we got there beds felt like they were not done for days, bedsheets were dusty. Beds were hard and denty. There was not fridge or microwave for a family room we were expecting that. The only good thing was that it was the location because it was right at the down town area. We really do not recommend this hotel. All the staff needs a courtesy training. All the staff was very rude the only lady that clean our bedrooms was very sweet and kind to us. And I can't give any starts to this hotel. Very disappointed of their service.

Worst night in a hotel. If you end up in a room facing the street, prepare for a slepless night, noise is unbearable! Staff is unresponsive. "All downtown hotels are like this" is the standard answer
