Hotel Socaire - 24000 Campeche

The staff was very nice and helpful, they have a wide variety of items on their room service menu, and their pool is small but clean and cute. It's a great location right in the middle of town close to several shops, restaurants and cafes, and the boardwalk and market are within easy walking distance.

Really nice hotel. The swimmingpool is great. There is a place to eat good breakfast. Rooms are big and lovely decorated. We really appreciate the atmosphere. In the city center.

Really liked this hotel. Beautiful interior courtyards and pool area. High ceilings old fashioned rooms but comfortable. Excellent cafe. Very central. The only minor drawback is that parking is a bit difficult.

Very nice hotel in a historic building. Our room was large with high ceilings and a king size bed. It had good air conditioning and wifi.The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for exploring the old city.

Absolutely loved this hotel. Staff were friendly, room (double beds) was hudge, bed and pillows super comfortable. We loved the pool and spent a whole afternoon there. Highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful hotel set in the heart of the colonial city of Campeche. Worth walking through the lobby area from the Cafe Sotavento just to experience hope nice it is. All the staff are first rate.

Great location, beautiful building, spacious & comfortable rooms and excellent staff! We were only able to book one night in this hotel and once we arrived, we understood why. It is a rambling, ancient building that has been modified into a charming, eclectic hotel. There are several courtyards, including a pool area. Most rooms seem to have an adjacent (but private) sitting area. The decor is a wonderful mish-mash of colours, textures and materials - such a refreshing change from cookie-cutter chain hotels or stuffy traditional ones. The rooms have super high ceilings and big wooden doors - we had a great sleep on very comfy beds. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is an adjoining cafe/restaurant with tasty, well-prepared food at a decent price. There are also several other excellent restaurants in the immediate vicinity. We have spent a month travelling around southern Mexico and this was, hands down, our favourite hotel.

Such an awesome place. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Room was big, clean and tastefully decorated. The pool and area was beautiful. Most of all we enjoyed all the art deco throughout the building. Plus there were all sorts of wonderful sitting areas to enjoy. Would highly recommend.
