Great service, led by a very nice couple. Our stay was excellent, right next to the beach, very convenient. We really recommend this hotel, you wont be disappointed.

I spent a couple weekends here this summer and LOVED my experience. The owners live in one of the suites and will drop anything to help. I forgot to print tickets to the zipline place I was going to before my trip and Laura (one of the owners) let me email it to her and printed it off for me. She also gave me and my group vouchers to redeem free prizes at XPLOR. Laura and her husband constantly bent over backwards for me and my group. I have never had better hospitality than when I stayed at Suites Fenicia. I consider Laura a dear friend and hope to return and visit her in the future! The location is also within walking distance to the beach and 5th Avenue (famous souvenir street with amazing restaurants). The suites are all decorated authentically and the A/C is super refreshing. The little pool outside is really clean and a great temperature. But the view from the roof was my favorite part! You can see the whole city and enjoy the sunrise/sunset from the comfy day beds. I will definitely be staying at Suites Fenicia when I return to Playa del Carmen. :)

Small family-owned boutique hotel with safe free parking inside gate. In fact, entire hotel very safe and cozy tucked inside tall opaque, locked gates. It's calm and quiet inside despite the bustling city outside. Room was very clean, excellent AC, comfy king bed, tons of free water and snacks, walkable to beach and all of downtown Playa del Carmen. We enjoyed sitting out by the little pool and using the free bicycles and beach towels. Owners even made us real espresso & cappuccino free of charge! If you're looking for a high end resort, this is probably not your place. But if you like a good price, great vibe, big clean room, and excellent staff in a good location, we highly recommend Suites Fenicia.

Originally booked for 5 weeks, now extending another 2.5 weeks. The staff & owners here are kind, attentive and wonderful. They've made it easy & enjoyable to stay. The location is great if you like to be in a more local area but easy walking distance to everything Playa offers. This is a great place for digital nomads (great internet) & seasoned travelers. Looking forward to spending a few more weeks here.
