★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decent room and bathroom, that did the job. Extremely close to the ADO station (across the street) so incredibly noisy. If you can, request to not be on the street side with the bus station. Front desk was helpful, particularly the younger man Who worked in the afternoons. Short walk to the town square and bicycle rentals are just off the corner of Calle 44 and Calle 39, which we used to get to the cenotes (20 minute bike ride).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good and inexpensive hotel, great location, friendly staff. Just make sure you get a room away from the corner, otherwise you will be hearing collectivo drivers yelling all day long trying to attract customers

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very serviceable, but very basic hotel.
It is located right in front of the ADO bus terminal, two blocks from the IRS office and two or three blocks from the central plaza, so it is extremely convenient for anybody who has business to do in the city, but lacks any touristic amenities like a pool, a convenience store, a restaurant, a bar or even a parking lot (that I've seen).
I have no idea who says this is a three star hotel. It's gleaming clean and everything works, but you need to at least have a continental breakfast to score two stars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not put people at front desk that are not helpful. Asked a question, the old guy was just counting coins and never answered. Exp here was not friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good value for money with friendly and welcoming staff. Unfortunately, the only negative point is that we didn’t have hot water whenever we wanted to take a shower; and wifi isn’t working properly (Guess depending on the location of the room). Great location in front of the bus station in the city center.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommend Hotel Valladolid for your stay in the city. Location is incredibly convenient -- right across from the ADO bus terminal -- and the staff are very welcoming and friendly. The younger gentlemen, who often works in the afternoons and evenings, was very kind and helpful during our stay by letting us know where to eat and directions to different areas.
This hotel is great value for money. Highly recommend getting a room with AC as it can get really hot outside! Had no problems with Wi-Fi. Out of our 3 nights, we had 2 nights with hot water, but we didn't mind. Rooms were quite comfortable and clean. It wasn't too loud during our stay; granted, our room was located on the second floor not near any corners. Appreciate the authentic experience living in the city!
P. S. We also recommend checking out the taco stand right around the corner of the hotel!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place was clean and the location was great. Literally next to the ADO station, which came in handy countless times. The gentleman who checked us in (the younger of the two that work there) was extremely helpful in answering our questions and getting us acquainted with the town. We checked in around 1am, and he helped us bring our luggage upstairs, showed us around the room, made sure we were comfortable, and even offered to track down a place to eat for us. He was still there in the morning, and gave us a map with hand-drawn detailed directions for local placed when we asked for recommendations. They don't really speak English (and we don't really speak Spanish) but they really try their best to communicate with you, and Google translate did the rest.
Highly recommend getting the rooms with AC (if you book on any of the popular booking sites, they all include it). Hot water isn't guaranteed (we had it 2 of 3 nights), but the water wasn't freezing either, just cool. You can hear the ADO station in the morning, but it definitely wasn't loud enough to wake us up, and it doesn't really start getting busy until around 8am when we were already up. Did not have any surprises when paying. Wifi worked great for us.
Overall felt safe and comfortable during our stay. Not like some of the higher-end options, but we actually enjoyed the ambience and open-air feel of the building. Would recommend for travelers on a budget looking for an authentic experience.
