Hotel Villa Deja Blue & Restaurant - 77600 San Miguel de Cozumel

I recommend the Villa's and Silvia's Restaurant, we didn't have any problems with accommodations. It's a clean area and close to the ocean and down town, all easy to walk to if you wish. It' all gated and safe. We will go back next trip.

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Great owners with a really nice cafe. Dennis and Sylvia were Awesome hosts in a cool hotel. Pretty quiet location with comfortable rooms. Went out of there way to help us and feed us and even gave us a ride to the passenger ferry. Would be happy to stay there again and send new people in their direction. Thanks again!

Last October while on Cozumel my wife and I were looking for a nice place for breakfast. We had asked some firend who live on Cozumel for some recommendations. They suggested we try a small place they love called Sylvia's. Well, we did, and it was one of the best breakfast experiences we have every encountered. But it only gets better. Not only was the breakfast amazing, the staff was so polite, and welcoming. We met the owners of this wonderful establishment, my wife asked about the hotel attached and they where so helpful and welcoming and said, come on we will show you around. We had just met these people, however felt like we were visiting old friends. The hotel and grounds are beautifully vell kept and clean. The rooms very accommodating. Since that time we have been back and have enjoyed staying at the hotel, and enjoying the wonderful surroundings, their company and awesome food. We plan on returning again and again..

We spent the month of February here and loved it! Dennis and Silvia are such great hosts! The rooms are clean, the kitchenette awesome and having the pool right outside our door was so nice. Great location. Close to the ocean and grocery store. We will go back next year for sure!

Okay. Five stars but not because it's that super luxury resort with staff in white linen suits at your beck and call on a white sand beach. Five stars because, it's a great location, great price and is flexible. One room? On room and kitchen/living room? Two rooms with kitchen and livingroom? Basically there are three units on three floors overlooking the pool. It's cosy. You get to meet and chat with the other residents. Some rent the whole floor, some come to dive and just take the room and some come for a room and kitchen, like we have for 15 years. There's a little restaurant at the side run by the proprietors Dennis and Silvia for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Check it out. 100 people a day do!! It's quiet and it's in Corpus Christi a lovely neighbourhood centered around the big church where you're welcome for communion if that's your thing on Sunday. The pool is a great place to cool off after baking in the sun and of course your room is just steps away for a refill. Full Wifi and there is TV though most of it is in Spanish. But hey, you didn't come here to watch mindless TV, right? The supermarkets - and they are as big as a Wallymart super centre - literally five minutes walk away. Rent a car or take a taxi for the day and explore the island. Check out the multitude of restaurants and Cucina de Silvia, the little place attached to Hotel Deja Blue Del Mar. Sorry if this sounds like an advertisement. Seriously, no one paid me. In fact, I paid Dennis to stay there like anyone else. It comfy, safe and friendly. Diving is just down the way (and that's why I have gone to Cozumel every year pretty much since 1999) and the people here are warm, friendly and eager to help. Learn a little Spanish, enjoy the family centric culture, go to the square and take in the songs and dancing. This is real. It's not some resort hotel show. It's the real people entertaining their families and friends and being part of an incredible community. Final note. I have been to almost every island in the Caribbean, central America and parts of south America. I always choose to come here almost every year. It's magic. Try it and see. Even if you don't choose Hotel Villa Deja Blue and meet Denis and Silvia (which would be your loss) you have to come and experience Cozumel. If you do, come by and ask for me. I might even be there escaping the Canadian winter.

Just got back from my third stay here and once again another great experience! Everything is conveniently close but far enough that its very quiet day and night! Dennis and Sylvia are great hosts! They will see me again soon

I stayed at Deja Blue on two different occasions in February . Accommodations were very clean and Dennis is meticulously maintaining every detail on a daily bases. The Villas are conveniently located close to one of the best shopping centers, yet just far enough away to make this area quiet and secure. Dennis and Sylvia are great hosts and Sylivia's restaurant has some of the best authentic Mexican food on the Island. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Dennis and Silvia have a great set up! Big spacious rooms, proper beds and linens, a salt water pool that is very refreshing, delicious food easy location and good housekeeper! Perfect place to stay while in Cozumel. Excellent value!
