Hotel Villa Italia - 77500 Cancún

It`s completely fine if you need bed to sleep and shower. Its the best combination of price and quality for such a touristic and expensive Cancun

The rooms is very nice, but it's a little bit difficult to enter the room, the key gets stuck. Everything is so clean on the outside

my bag WAS ROBBED after I left it on reception for 1 day. The explanation of general manager was that i had to leave any valuables in a safebox. Cool, but what's the point of leaving yoiur bag at all at the reception at all, it is suppoused to be safe place, isn't it? It never happend with me even in the cheapest hotels in Asia. Be extremely careful about this hotel

Good clean inexpensive place to stay, staff is extremely friendly and helpful Great place for those on a budget Close to a zillion restaurants and a huge mall. My partner wanted me to add no elevator and we are on the sixth floor. ?

Great little hotel . I had the queen suite with living room, dining room , kitchen (with utensils, plates, microwave, coffee machine and super large very cold fridge), bathroom with a shower including super hot water and hair dryer, a very small balcony, and really large bedroom with closet, safe ,ironing board and iron. Tv had many great channels including English ones . Bed was cozy .Staff is super nice. Oscar and David answered all my questions. Oscar was especially super helpful . I needed a lap pool to do lapses so he called 3 different places for me and finally found a gym next door with a lap pool that I absolutely loved ( energy gym by Alex Rodriguez) Hotel has a pool with lounging sun chairs but I never used it . The entrance has a locked gate with 24h security guard who is very kind and friendly and with whom I got to practise my Spanish. Wifi was excellent and never failed me . Area is great . 5 min from plaza las Americas, huge shopping mall with a gigantic food court, a cinema and a chedraui grocery store, energy gym and a major bus stop . Quick walk to the bus stop to the hotel zone.The only problem and for me that was a major deal breaker, was the music from neighboring bars , restaurants and the Cancun bull ring that has major concert events . During the day there was the noise from the construction across the street but that was not so bad . I stayed there 8 days Monday to Monday . On Sun Mon Tues Wed it was quiet but Thursday Friday and Saturday, music played from 5pm to 4:30 am! not under the controls of the hotel,not possible to sleep. That and the cleaning staff were terrible . My bed sheets smelled so bad , like bad body odor. Even when they changed them still smelled. Still, for the price i payed, this hotel exceeded my expectations !,

Nice spacious 1 bedroom condo we had no hot water for two day as there worked on the plumbing. Location not too bad. U can walk most places but bus to the beach. Shopping mall close by.

Spacious poolside room with older king bed was clean but not spotless. Older hotel that is in nice repair. Pool is cool and refreshing but if you like to dry in the sun, get to the pool before 2. The negative for us was location: nowhere near a beach and the club next door played music till 5am.
