Hotel Vista Laguna - 77930 Bacalar

Very nice hotel with a comfortable bed, however on the negatives: - noisy - Dirty, the towels didn't seem totally clean and they were old, moreover, the next day, the sheets were not changed, the bins were not emptied and the bed was not made. - The service is non-existent - Late and poor breakfast - Does not correspond to the photos, especially the swimming pool and the rooms which are not all facing the lagoon, only two.

Really bad hostel! My worst experience in Mexico !! We paid for breakfast and got a choice between cornflakes and milk for one omelet, it was really shabby. It is written on their website that there is wifi in the rooms, in practice there was not at all. We bought through them an organized trip to the lagoon and were assured that the price included round trips and boating, in practice there was no drinking and we were not provided with a return trip. On our second morning we got up to find out that we and some other tourists had stolen some really expensive swimwear, the staff blamed the dogs and was not willing to help (dogs do not just steal women's swimwear). Felt the staff was involved in the theft and the girl at the reception kept lying about the organized trip we were promised. Stay away and be careful they are crooks !! Really bad hostel!
