This is NOT a five star resort. The staff was very friendly however, the room smelled like mildew and the bed was so uncomfortable. The food from the buffet was often cold and after three different occasions of picking up a dirty plate from the clean plate line I decided I had enough. I left the resort and from there on we ate at local restaurants. I recommend Alberto’s they have great food, drinks and music. My husband and I also went into town a few times and ate at local restaurants. The resort does not have any entertainment and there is no club. I love the fact that they don’t use plastic and give you two glass bottles to fill up. Don’t go to the gym without water. They do not have a water fountain and I don’t know how much the resort would charge if you broke it. The charge $25 for the beach towel if it is not returned. I will not come back as there are better options to stay at.

This place is paradise. We were treated very well. The staff is great. The food is great. The beach is awesome. The pool. The drinks. I can’t say anything negative about this resort. Maybe the fact they control the thermostat in the room- if it was full on hot, it may be an issue. But it’s set at 25 Celsius and the ceiling fan works well. Resort helped with a last minute Covid test and they treated us well. Bring water shoes as beach is covered in coral base. The pictures and website don’t do this place justice. I didn’t want to leave and will be back for sure.

This resort is amazing! It is great for families! My 4 and 5 year old had so much fun at Star Camp with Karen, Rosa and Ismael. I didn't think there was much that could get them out of the pool, but playing at Star Camp was a highlight for them, for sure! Great maid service, the rooms were always cleaned to perfection. Food was great! Another plus for this resort, kids get to try all kinds of food and TREATS! Angelo, Edgar (both amazing dancers), Lenard and Daniella bring the FUN!! The whole amazing staff brings you great service with a smile! Definitely hope to come back sometime soon!

We traveled here right before Christmas with a family of 4 with two teenagers (14 & 16) and it's a nice resort. The hotel itself was probably running at 30% capacity and had good COVID mask protocols in place. You had to have a mask on to enter all restaurants. The rooms were a really cool bungalow style setup and the one we had was right next to the beach and pool. You had to have a reservation for all restaurants except for the buffet and snack shack but both of those had good food. At restaurants the drink refill service was hit or miss as often you had to refill your drink yourself. The food was good but not the best I’ve ever had. Breakfast was our favorite meal. The beach itself was really nice and had a really cool setup of palm trees, lounge chairs and hammock’s with some in the sun and some in the shade. If you want to spend time in the ocean at this resort you will be disappointed as it’s all reef and you can’t just walk in without stepping on rocks, etc. They do have a pier that you can walk out on and enter the water 40 yards or so out but we always like to play in the water directly from the beach. There is a dive shop attached to the resort that was very busy so if you want to dive in Cozumel this would be a great option for you. We were disappointed by lack of activities for teenagers such as pool tables, teen club, ping pong, giant outdoor chess, etc as non of those existed at this resort and we’ve come to really like those amenities at other resorts we’ve been too. Having said that, this resort did have one area under construction that had one visible pool table but it was closed when we were there. The resort did have bags, beach volleyball, tennis and a basketball court and we loved those. The entertainment staff also did a good job with organized activities like pool volleyball, water polo, etc. I recommend using a taxi for transportation to/from the airport as it’s only $30 each way for a family of 4.

It was a really great experience! Easy transportation to/from the airport. The resident parrot Pepe greets visitors in the lobby, and the staff was accommodating to our needs, requests, and questions. They have a great clean beach, easy to take a dip from the sand or walk down from the pier. The restaurants had good fresh food, and an almost overwhelming selection with daily variations. Plenty of bar space in several locations including the pool and beach. With so many options for entertainment, it's a superb resort for both adults and families We used the on-site dive shop, Dresser Diver International. Their staff was a great resource and offered me easy access to a badly needed refresher course before hitting the local reefs. The boats were well maintained and fully staffed. They focus on safety and offer plenty of options for beginners and advanced divers. As can be expected, don't set your expectations for strict scheduled departures too high. Be flexible, the changes were minimal and only shortened the amount of time we had at the resort buffet between dives. Regarding COVID - because Cozumel is dependent on tourism, everyone is pleasantly adherent to mitigation protocols. Masks are a must in common areas like the restaurant, but at the beach there is plenty of space. And the staff at the hotel made it easy for us to get the required tests on site to return to our country of origin. Overall, I would recommend and plan to return.

Staff is awesome! The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Food is good. Only complaint is that the resort allows cruise ship guests onto the resort during the day. This makes for longer lines at the bar, less available seating at the beach, pool and restaurants. Resorts can be crowded enough. I don't see why they need to make it worse. I emailed hotel management about my complaint and they couldn't care less. This place is nice otherwise.

We loved this resort! All inclusive resort with a good variety of salsas (that’s the first thing that stood out to me) - Resort is a good size enough to walk around from room / main lobby / pool / beach bar - The resort does have a hot tub! Be sure to book it once you get there if you want a quick relaxation! - beach has some snorkeling where you can go off the shore & see some sea life - kid friendly, they had nightly entertainment - if you are staying there less than 3 nights, you will have to pay 25$ fee per person for your COVID test - staff workers were very relaxed / easy to communicate with - would recommend this resort to various types of families!

My Husband and I booked for a long weekend getaway. When we arrived, everything was absolutely beautiful and everyone was so nice! Our room was plain, but nice and clean! Great water pressure, too! The first night we were here, our air conditioner went out. It was a HUMID 84 degrees throughout the night and we got ZERO sleep. I tried calling the front desk at midnight, then again at 2 am with no answer. Called again at 5 am and that's when they told me it was "property-wide". When we met up with some friends at the pool, they had no issues with theirs, so not really sure what that was about, but then they were without AC for two nights. We left the property in the morning to go on an island tour and when we came back, everything was working fine. It was super easy to get a cab whenever we needed. We absolutely LOVED all of the wildlife, too! Now for the negatives.... The food left alot to be desired. We ate at the Chinese restaurant the first night. It was OKAY, but nothing extraordinary, by any means. The buffet was better than anything we ate, and it was still just OKAY. We also ate at the Mexican restaurant where I ordered fajitas. They were so overcooked that I couldn't chew them. The beans looked like they had been reheated a thousand times and the rice was just plain, white, tasteless rice. I ordered rice pudding for dessert and it came in a beautiful glass....with warm milk, cinnamon and a few raisins sprinkled on top. The pool area was roomy, but the music was awful ..more like elevator music. Definitely not a "fun" atmosphere at all. The drinks we ordered(from multiple bars) were not good at all. My frozen cocktails tasted more like ice water than anything. In my opinion, the property was too big and you had to walk for forever to get anywhere. Overall, it was just an OKAY visit for us. Beautiful property, and wonderful staff, but would we stay again? Probably not.
