 This church was built by the son of Hernán Cortés and La Malinche, Don Martin Cortés who lived opposite, the image that represents the Father, Son and Holy Spirit according to what they say was brought from Spain of which there are only two others, in Spain and Rome.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Una iglesia muy bonita y representativa del pueblo de Tepoztlán. Pienso que por fuera le hace falta una pequeña reestructura para que se vea más limpia, por dentro es hermosa y a veces tienen exposiciones como en día de muertos. Tiene gran valor arquitectónico y colonial.
A very beautiful and representative church of the town of Tepoztlán. I think that on the outside it needs a little restructuring to make it look cleaner, on the inside it is beautiful and sometimes they have exhibitions like on the day of the dead. It has great architectural and colonial value.

Se dice que Martín Cortés fue quien lo mando construir para poder escuchar misa pues vivía en la casa que está justo frente al templo, por lo que se deduce que su construcción se realizó entre el siglo XVI y el XVII. Su interior es muy sencillo de una sola nave con techo de cañón corrido.
Su fachada es muy austera con dos torres y una espadaña con reloj al centro.
Small temple located on Tepozteco avenue. It is said that Martín Cortés was the one who ordered it to be built so that he could hear mass because he lived in the house that is right in front of the temple, so it can be deduced that its construction took place between the 16th and 17th centuries. Its interior is very simple with a single nave with a continuous barrel ceiling.
Its facade is very austere with two towers and a belfry with a clock in the center.
