Se dice que existe un túnel construido para conectar con otras capillas. Conviene leer la historia de las capillas de la cercanía para entender que ocurrió en este lugar. La fiesta patronal en el 10 de agosto es ideal para visitar la capilla, anteriormente la portada de la capilla era adornada por el señor Andrés Paredes y aunque ha pasado el tiempo, la fiesta sigue siendo espectacular.
