★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service was great, and the ambiance was nice. The food was mediocre at best and expensive. Also they play the music really loud. If this play played more laid back music and at a level where you didn't have to yell to the person, and if they had better food,, it would be great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was not worth the price. On the surface this is a nice place, but their business structure falls apart on a deeper level in terms of food, intimacy, and guest experience. They over compensated mediocre food by over salting their dishes, and everything was kind of one note. Would’ve loved to see hits of lemon to brighten the flavors, or capers/olives on the grilled fish instead of so much salt. They need to focus on elevating their food instead of gimmicky tourist marketing. The staff was friendly and attentive, but there were so many different people coming up to our table that we lost the intimacy of getting to know our server. I wouldn’t go back or recommend.

Stepping into Ilios brings me that Greece Mykonos vibes, from the decor to the servers to the music. At the heart of 5th ave in PDC, it was truly an experience. Service was amazing, servers were attentive and made sure we were well looked after. Love the dancers that went around from time to time. The food was tasty, presentation was arranged beautifully, however I did expect more for the price. My favourite was the lamb.
Really felt the vibe of the decor and ambience to make me feel away from 5th ave.
Really liked to thank Topa the manager I believe who gave us these cute evil eye bracelet! What a lovely souvenir.
Overall it was a lovely experience to recommend to try it out even just once if you're in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Live entertainment, great food, fantastic ambience and menu. This place is a siuper-fun piece of Greece on the Playa Del Carmen Town strip. If you're a seafood lover or prefer the turf experience you won't be disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really wanted to love this place. So excited when I saw them building it. Looks amazing, but the service is awful and the food didn’t make up for it. I will not be back. Way better restaurants here in playa. This place is a tourist trap.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a brilliant night at this place we had! Our waiter - Karol, was just the best! He was so attentive and apologetic when there was a delay with a cocktail I had ordered. The restaurant is in demand so would advise booking in advance. Food is good and actually quite generous portion sizes which I wasn't expecting! The ambience is wonderful. There are belly dancers and there's plate smashing to get involved in! Good music too. Could easily spend the rest of the night there after dinner. People get up on to their chairs and dance! And there's plenty of sparklers to go around for an instagram moment ?
