★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My biggest regret about my trip to the the city was not taking a whole day to be here and read to my heart's content. I got to browse their section on one of my favorite artists, Leopoldo Mendez, so I got to see some of his work I hadn't seen before. They even had a section dedicated to the various indigenous/ethnic groups in the state, including my own, Mixtec@, which again I'm bummed I didn't make more time to read up. They had a pretty cool zine bookshelf too in the same room where you can make prints of your own designs, which if you want to do you just gotta ask how. Overall a pretty cool library, definitely a stop if you are curious about Mexican anything I'm sure you'll find a book on it here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately, despite what internet posted, the IAGO is closed. The small gift shop was open, though, and had some interesting things. Disappointing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some interesting memorabilia, featuring a few striking designs. Not a bad way to spend a bit of time. The art library looks promising, but it was not open to the public when I was there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome place!
You can study, read books, talk or just listen to bird's twittering under the roof made of flowers and leaves.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really loved it in here.
The book collection is amazing and the staff really respect how the books are treated which is nice, there's also a sweet little shaded courtyard out the back with plenty of seating so you can take a break from the hot sun. (And also free toilets!)
In indoor art collection is also amazing, so much to look at.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a beautiful and relaxing place. They have tables you can use for meetings or doing some work. Their book collection is very good. I wish I had plenty of time there to read more. They have beautiful plants and lockers to leave your stuff. There was also a gallery.
The restrooms were clean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Relaxing vibe. Library was closed on Sunday, but opens during the week. Free admission. The building is very charming and the artwork on exhibit is quite varied and very local. This is a great place to come to to get a sense of the art scene.
