About Instituto Internacional
Nuestra Secundaria recibe su nombre en honor a Alfonso García Robles (1911-1991), fue un político y diplomático mexicano que ejemplificó nuestros tres ideales. Primeramente, un académico, pues estudió leyes en la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, y posteriormente completó estudios de maestría tanto en la Universidad de París, como en la Academia Internacional de Leyes de La Haya. Debido a su sentido de responsabilidad global, García Robles sirvió como delegado de la conferencia de 1945 que ayudó a fundar las Naciones Unidas. Posteriormente desempeñó varios puestos que incluyen el ser embajador de México en Brasil y representante en las Naciones Unidas y en el Comité de Desarme. El talento de García Robles para expresarse ayudó a que fuera autor de más de una docena de libros, aunque probablemente sea más conocido por persuadir al gobierno mexicano y a otras 22 naciones, de prohibir las armas nucleares en sus territorios, llevando a que le fuera otorgado el premio Nobel de la Paz en 1982.

Los maestros y directivos están realmente capacitados para impartir sus materias y dirigir la institución siempre buscando un nivel de excelencia.
También, sus instalaciones son muy agradables y acogedoras, la vista es inigualable al estar rodeados de tanta naturaleza.
The International Institute is without a doubt the best educational institution in the Rivera de Chapala. They have very comprehensive academic programs, focused on preparing students for a successful future.
The teachers and directors are truly qualified to teach their subjects and direct the institution, always seeking a level of excellence.
Also, its facilities are very nice and cozy, the view is unmatched being surrounded by so much nature.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I graduated from here and I can tell that the academic level is going downhill fast. IB promises aren´t good at all. I did not leave with good math fundamentals because they didn't teach them. My last "research project" was about praising weed, yes, the drug. I did not have chemistry classes in highschool because directives wanted us to "tutor" those in junior high even if we remembered nothing about those classes. Also, directives never show their faces when parents have complains about the school in general. They rather hide behind a friendly teacher but never give results. The academic level currently sucks, focusing on the subjects that are not competitive at all in modern days. I truly regret coming into this school, since it started with good academic development and when the principal changed, it was just awful.

Your children will get plenty of significant information which will be quite useful in their near future. Furthermore, the location of this school is away from the city so students are really concentrated in their learning without any interrumptions.

They are smart, inquisitive, mature and a pleasure to teach. This school is doing a lot right to be developing such a great group of kids. I love working here for many reasons, but our students top the list!
