Spectacular cenote near the archaeological site of Chichén Itzá, quite deep (over 30 meters), clear and refreshing water (especially after visiting the archaeological site) with small fish swimming around you. The vegetation that descends from the top to touch the water looks like that of a botanical garden and the small waterfall that falls in the center of the cenote, makes swimming idyllic. However, the proximity to Chichén Itzá makes it quite crowded at certain times of the day.

Cenotes are naturally occurring phenomena, sinkholes on the surface of the Earth, resulting from the collapse of the roof of a water-filled cave. It is estimated that Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula has 7,000 cenotes. The high number of cenotes is due to the fact that the peninsula is mainly composed of porous limestone. The limestone has been destroyed by millions of years of rainfall, creating a large network of underground caves. This Cenota has huge gastronomic and tourist facilities. You can use the changing rooms, showers, life jackets rental.
