Don’t book a room here if you want to sleep quietly, have a view, unpack your suitcase or get maid service every day. Between blaring dance club music on the roof, rattling air conditioning units and no sound insulation, you will require noise canceling devices in order to get any rest.this was our only view, hardly what was represented on the website. Playa del Carmen has a lot of hotels in all price ranges. Chose one of those.

Rooms were very clean, front desk was very friendly and helpful, definitely don't go here if you want something quiet because they do often have roof top parties that run late at night. So if you're sensitive to noise or are going to complain about that, find another place. They're about 2 blocks away from martina beach, a oittle further from the center of PDC however for us it was great because we were away from all thw crowds! Definitely would go back!

Fantastic hotel that punches well above their weight considering what they charge. Great rooms, great food, and an infinity pool on the roof. Shout out to Life Synergy Retreat and Alan at the front desk.

This is a horrible establishment. This hotel has zero class. They have NO regard for the residential buildings full of people who prefer to not be accosted by extremely loud, low quality music every night and hear and people yelling through a microphone. How can this be allowed? I highly recommend avoiding such a disrespectful, classless hotel and stay elsewhere - especially if you value sleeping at night.

This place is not being run by a hotelier, or else they would read the reviews and do something about the problems here. The music on the roof top is so loud that you can hear it from the street level. How is anyone suppose to enjoy themselves, you can't even take a nap. The neighbour's in buildings across the street are even complaining. We went to speak to the roof top manager, and all he said was" this is how it is". Anyways, book at your own risk.

So far so good until tonight. Big party on the roof, right above my room. Impossible to sleep. Highly unpleasant to sit through. Awful…Reception says…”well, sorry..it’s just an event they do”. Music progressively getting louder. 11.13pm now. Don’t stay here if u care about a night sleep. Terrible experience. Who knows if or when it will stop. The hotel doesn’t care that it’s intolerable to sit in their rooms let alone sleep.

This used to be a place I stayed all the time because I really like the hotel. This time I was treated rudely and ultimately left without a place to stay. As I have been I guest many times they gave me their direct number to book a room. After negotiating a price and confirming a booking, I told them I was on my way … I tried calling them and they didn’t answer. So I texted them again telling them I am confirmed into reserve a room. I show up at the reception three hours later and Alan greets me, saying there’s no reservation for me! He didn’t seem to understand that I just wanted a room and instead was arguing that I didn’t make a reservation correctly. Finally 10 minutes later he offers me a room at double the price. He says sorry this is the only price we have I can’t match the one that we honored during our communication. Oh and the price is 5000 pesos on the website, he says I check the website in front of him and immediately found a better price He accuses me of calling him a liar shortly before this. Not to mention his tone was so rude and condescending and he kept calling me miss in this very derogatory way. I should also add I don’t usually write bad reviews. And I should also add I was speaking to him in a very decent tone. Anyways he finally shows me the room that’s available and I agree to book the room. I go back to the front desk and start to book the room online because it’s cheaper than the price he’s giving me verbally. As I finish booking, it says no availability. He says oh well it just got booked! After all that. I said can you help me find another place and he said no. I’m writing this because I am genuinely insulted at the way I was spoken to and treated as a repeat guest. I won’t be able to come back and support this hotel anymore given this terrible disrespect. So Alan, you should ideally start treating people the way you’d like to be treated. Not like a jerk. You were being a total jerk. And the world doesn’t need more jerks.

Our room and the rooftop is amazing. We spent most of our time there. However, the ‘included’ breakfast ended up not being included, but we were only told that after we had ordered so we had to pay $400 pesos only to eat the worst enchiladas of our trip. We ordered a pizza on the rooftop another time since we were too sick to leave the hotel and it tasted terrible as well. The staff was nice but if ever you need to order a taxi, go and hail one yourself or else you’ll pay 3x more if they order one for you.
