★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Me and 4 or my group members all got tattoos and they managed to fit us all in one day for a very good price, forget everything you know about getting a tattoo in Mexico these pros keep it clean and quality. I will be back I'm the years to come for more for sure. I should also mention that one of the 4 was a cover up as well as it was mine and another's first tattoo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very chill tattoo gem on the small island of Isla Mujeres. My time there was spent for a night with the artist and customers who all were unique in their own way.
It felt like I was apart of a story that night with all those I met.
The most important thing is the skill level of the artists. All very good and really have combined modern tattooing with the authentic tattoo shop practices.
Hugo/Ugo did my work, he used all new and clean equipment, and didn't over put pressure while working on my arm.
I gave him a picture and he took it to perfection and gave his insight on how to customize it.
The work was great and he got it all done for me in one night. He was focused until the very end. As I said, all were great people, and he is a very cool guy who doesn't come across as pretentious at all.
I plan to come back here in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What can I say, I got a cover up done by Hugo and my girl got her tattoo fixed by Felipe. This was top notch all the way. The attention to detail was unbelievable and the outcome looks better than I could ever imagined. I already have plans on getting my other arm done when I come back to Isla, I will not be getting anymore work done in the states, these guys are way to good to not come back to them. Thanks Hugo and Felipe.

They went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable, and were there every step of the way, even with the multiple questions I had leading up to the time we finally made it to the Island. They’re absolutely amazing to work with and their work is incredible!! If you’re a first timer like me, or are wanting more like my husband, look no further than Ixchel!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best experience ever. My hubbs and I decided on vacation tattoos impulsively and I went to Ixchel Tattoo on Instagram and messaged her. She was responsive immediately and was extremely patient when I messed up my ferry times to get to the island from Cancun.
Very clean space, very professional, absolutely hilarious to be around. We are so glad we found this little spot. Definitely HIGHLY recommend.
Side note: everything was opened in front of us, cleanliness the entire time. huge deal to us (especially bc I’m a nurse). We’re so glad we met Jami!
