Easily the worst Turkish food I’ve ever had, and Turkish is one of my favorites. To start, the hummus had no flavor, no salt, no olive oil, no nothing. The dish I ordered had cheese that was very bad quality and leaking grease, way too much salt. The waiter forgot about my Turkish coffee and we had to remind him twice and twice I said with sugar. The coffee arrived with no sugar and was burnt tasting. In fact it wasn’t even Turkish coffee, it was just unfiltered regular coffee they probably ground up in a blender. They cut corners on quality and flavor. I’m running a food blog in Playa for Carmen and this is a NO. Where is the owner? Has he ever eaten a meal in Istanbul? I can cook a better Turkish meal, this place should be shut down.

What a nice restaurant in playa del carmen. They have fresh appetizers, great lahmacun & pide, best kebabs. The staff is really very friendly. It is not easy to halal food in carmen. Turkish coffee is the best coffee after your food. I highly recommend this kebab place. It is an amazing restaurant in Mexico.

Everything else but authentic Turkish food you can skip this one quality of food leaves a lot to desire and very expensive with super slow service and no parking sums up the experience

Wow! Super happy I stumbled upon this place and after hesitation went inside. Immediately transported to another land. Everything was quite authentic, from the chef and team to the plates/coffee and tea cups, to the music and incredible food. I was planning to get my favorite local cheap but tasty street tacos when I walked by and saw this small shop quite busy, and it smelled amazing. Had the chicken kebab, they gave me yogurt with garlic for free when I asked for some. Everything tasted fresh and super flavorful. Watched chef cooking right over the grill. They have Turkish tea and coffee - I enjoyed the tea and the chef / owner gifted me with a piece of baklava that was exquisite! So kind! Clean space and super friendly and helpful service - thanks Orhan! :) They’re expanding to a bigger space soon, be sure to go try their food and find out where they’re relocating. Highly recommend when you’ve been eating tacos for a month (or week or year) haha or just want something delicious - and different!

March 2021: I live in playa del carmen. I am glad we have a representative of the turkish cuisine now. I tried a kebab sandwich, tasty, huge and filling. This is good enough for 2 people. The husband and wife team are always working hard at representing their culture, magnificent flavors and authentic dishes. Next time I'm trying their turkish coffee and desserts.

nothing to do with Turkish cuisine! The portions are very small, like for kids. Not recommend. Better to walk few meters and ordered good meat in El Fogón.

Very simple servings. I got the Doner with beef, and it wasn't mind-blowing. It was a tortilla, with steak, tomatoes, and that's it, no sides. Just that. It wasnt bad. But I wasn't impressed. The tortilla did feel fresh and handmade. But I could have used more meat. Also, I tried Aryan drink, which is basically runny yogurt. Again, not impressed and it was a strange. I guess the good thing is I didn't overeat, but for $10 bucks I guess I was assuming a bit more.
