I'm giving it 4 stars only because I think the restaurant was a little understaffed when we went. It took him 15 minutes to come take our order then after 20 minutes he came and asked if we were ready to order. He didn't actually place the order with the kitchen. So we were at the restaurant a total of 1.5 hours and all we got was two meals.
The LBV burger was tasty and the quesadilla was good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bar with Swings as bar stools!! Very fun atmosphere. Right on Akumal beach. Bar and outdoor seating. They have a very nice pool. The chicken nachos were fantastic!! Great margaritas!

The swings at the bar are a fun touch! Dining on the beach while enjoying a beautiful view of the ocean is amazing! Drinks and food are delicious!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An excellent place to relax and get some great grub. We sat right on the water and enjoyed some drinks, then came back another night and had dinner with the whole family. Service takes a while but is well worth the wait. Can't wait to come back next time we visit Akumal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great view but horrible food. The happy hour was nice, good prices for the drinks. We ordered guacamole and salsa and chips, the guac was average at best. We then ordered fish tacos and the lime soup. It took 45 minutes to come out and it was the worst food I’ve had in years. The tacos were the worst I’ve ever had. The lime soup was watery and had barely any flavor. It’s a great spot for a drink and a relaxed atmosphere in a beautiful setting.

It was really great food (at average prices), friendly staff and the view is beautiful. There are Tree House type things you can sit in but they were closed when we visited.
Nice place to watch the sunset with a cocktail after a long day.
I would visit again.
