★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful place for Mexican cuisine lovers. Great food, reasonably priced, very efficient service. Try guacamole, fajitas, fish or shrimps, you won't be disappointed.
During the lunch hours the place is packed with locals, the whole families dine there, which is always a good sign.
Best meal in Cozumel!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for lunch! All the food we ordered was very fresh and prices are reasonable! Guacamole and chicken tacos were amazing. Another customer told us he eats here twice a day when he’s here for a month and that all the salad ingredients are triple washed for safety. Did I mention they have fans and you eat under a large palapa so it’s cool even during the heat of the day? Plan to be back soon!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is a true taste of Mexico. This place is not Americanized therefore authenticity is guaranteed. Came here on a cruise.
I'm Mexican American y hablo español y esto fue una deliciosa experiencia. The staff and owner where very welcoming, but not in that greedy way us tourist know. It was an honest sincere welcome. I typically won't go out of my way to write a review but this place is definitely an exception.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I lived next door to La Candella for a month, and ate there everyday, it was fantastic. Each day they have a special which is traditional Cuban with a Mexican leaning, and it doesnt matter what you order. The restaurant closes about 6pm, and runs like a perfect machine. These are the places where you stumble in inadvertently and discover the best food on the Island which has great food around every corner. Wow, wow and wow.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing authentic Mexican restaurant, I like their special of the day which includes a drink and a starter soup! I also like their fajitas. Best lunch restaurant on the island, they close the kitchen at 4pm and they do breakfast as well.
