★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A unusual circumstance because it was Christmas eve, so the menu wasnt available. Every item was $p500 and the service was lacking (frequency) despite not being too busy. Our server was a great guy but communication was not great and no offers for additional drinks or water throughout our stay. We waited 40 min for overcooked steak a few shrimp with no included appetizer or desert for what would have cost 1/3 the price on any other night. A very disappointing Christmas Eve dinner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst "cantina" I've ever been to. They told me that I had to have dinner if I was to stay there, even though there were plastic tables and chairs and it was still in the afternoon. Most important, I would think a "cantina" would offer drinks without that remark. Think they're only interested in the tips from US or Canadian people. Very bad service, and if you want to sleep, just listen to a few of the songs they're playing live.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is low season so it was quiet, but the food was great and they had live music on Sunday Night!! The staff was super friendly and even danced a few songs with us. We had a great night there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great Food, and great service.. Lene in the day and Rebe and Augustine at night!! Wonderful waiters..Best grilled whole snapper at night anywhere!! The chef is newer to there and just excellent! If its not on the menu, they will make it anytime! BLT sandwich, or cheese chorizos quesadillas!!! Just ask!! Love tuna salad and tortilla soup too!!
We go there as often as we can when in town!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I ate here twice during our vacation in Zihautanejo in April 2019. The beach views are lovely and the food quality was excellent. Seafood was very fresh and delicious. Hilberto was our host both times and showcased the charm of the venue. A three-piece band entertained nightly. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great meal here. It was a late Friday evening, and we had the place to ourselves. There was a trio of locals playing music in the alley outside, making for wonderful ambiance. Food and drink were delicious, and the kitchen was happy to make something off-menu to meet a dietary restriction.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve had dinner here twice in the last week and both times it was excellent. The location is great, we had a table right on the beach. They have great staff and a little two man band that’s really good - not too loud or anything like that. I had the octopus and it was fantastic, also I would recommend the tiradito.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my favourite restaurant on La Ropa Beach. Not super cheap, but not super expensive. The food is delicious. Mexican & seafood. They usually have live music…really good Mexican players. Drinks are yummy too!. Service is really good, the waiters are always trying to be festive. I love it here!
