Ci tengo a precisare che la struttura ed il posto in cui si trova sono a dir poco magnifici ed anche il fatto che sia un eco-hotel aggiunge valore al posto. Ma passiamo alle note dolenti: -Tranquillità. La struttura si vanta di essere un oasi di pace e relax, senza però tener conto di un disco bar (Coco Hotel) sito di fianco, che spara musica a palla dalle 10 del mattino fino a sera, rendendo il soggiorno un incubo, con avventori del club che spesso si appropriano anche di lettini riservati al chancabañita. -Sfortunatamente in questo periodo la Riviera Maya è interessata da un invasione di alghe, ovviamente la struttura in questo non ha responsabilità, trattandosi di un fenomeno del tutto naturale, ma la struttura ha la responsabilità di fare il tutto possibile per arginare il problema. Mentre tutti gli altri Hotel in cui abbiamo alloggiato si preoccupavano di pulire le spiagge invase da alghe, il Chancabañita stava a guardare e non rimuoveva neanche un singolo filo di alga, nonostante solleciti da parte nostra e degli altri ospiti. La spiaggia era invasa da alghe da giorni e giorni, alghe in stato di decomposizione che rilasciavano liquidi maleodoranti ed erano invase da ogni tipo di insetto. Condizioni igienico sanitarie della spiaggia pari a zero!!! Ripeto, le alghe sono un fenomeno naturale ed imprevedibile, ma la struttura ha mancato di professionalità ed efficienza nella gestione del problema. Abbiamo chiesto di andare via il giorno dopo l'arrivo, date le condizioni igienico sanitarie della spiaggia condite dal loro menefreghismo, e come se non bastasse, ci sono stati anche trattenuti 600 dollari americani. Per concludere, posto da evitare data la gestione poco professionale ed i costi elevati non bilanciati da efficienza e pulizia. Not a happy experience. I want to clarify that the structure and the place in which it is located are nothing short of magnificent and also the fact that it is an eco-hotel adds value to the place. But let's move on to the painful notes: -Tranquility. The structure prides itself on being an oasis of peace and relaxation, without taking into account a disco bar (Coco Hotel) located next to it, which shoots ball music from 10 am until evening, making the stay a nightmare, with patrons of the club who often also appropriate beds reserved for the chancabañita. -Unfortunately in this period the Riviera Maya is affected by an invasion of algae, obviously the structure has no responsibility in this, as it is a completely natural phenomenon, but the structure has the responsibility to do everything possible to stem the problem. While all the other hotels we stayed in took care of cleaning the seaweed-overgrown beaches, the Chancabañita watched and didn't remove a single thread of seaweed, despite reminders from us and other guests. The beach had been invaded by algae for days and days, algae in a state of decomposition that released foul-smelling liquids and were invaded by all kinds of insects. Sanitary conditions of the beach equal to zero !!! I repeat, algae are a natural and unpredictable phenomenon, but the structure lacked professionalism and efficiency in managing the problem. We asked to leave the day after our arrival, given the hygienic and sanitary conditions of the beach seasoned by their indifference, and as if that were not enough, we were also withheld 600 US dollars. To conclude, a place to avoid given the unprofessional management and high costs not balanced by efficiency and cleanliness.

Cote Atlantique bouge un petit peu plus que la cote Caraïbes. Really nice room. Direct access to the beach; Room on the beach! Only the sound of the waves at night. Atlantic coast moves a little more than the Caribbean coast.

Por la noche oyes las olas del mar como si estuvieran dentro de la cabaña. Tiene tumbonas en la playa y un desayuno bastante completo. También tienen bicicletas para los clientes que usé para ir a la zona arqueológica de Tulum. Además, cuando fui había nidos de tortugas y pude ver alguna al amanecer. Por poner un pero, salía poca agua de la ducha debido a que el hotel es ecológico (también se agradece). The cabins are very nice and cozy, mine had views of the sea and it was beautiful. It is a small hotel, very quiet. At night you hear the waves of the sea as if they were inside the cabin. It has sunbeds on the beach and a fairly complete breakfast. They also have bikes for clients that I used to go to the archaeological site of Tulum. Also, when I went there were turtle nests and I could see some at dawn. To put a but, little water came out of the shower because the hotel is ecological (also appreciated).

Nos ayudaron en un problema que tuvimos con el coche. La tranquilidad y la ubicación también es una maravilla. Muy recomendable There is a good quality price relation. The cabins are simple but very cozy. The staff is super friendly and you feel at home. They helped us with a problem we had with the car. The tranquility and the location is also wonderful. Highly recommended

Las camas eran incómodas, especialmente la del colchón individual era un colchón de mala calidad con una división enmedio que hacía un castigo ir a dormir ahí. Después de tres noches nos pusieron un colchón algo mejor. El ventilador no funcionaba bien asi que nunca pudimos descansar. Se escucha todo de la calle por las noches. El WiFi pésimo. Había varias hormigas en nuestro baño y llegaba un olor a coladera bastante asqueroso. En sí el concepto es lindo pero estuvimos decepcionados desde el primer día. We stayed in the Sol cabin and our stay was definitely not pleasant. The beds were uncomfortable, especially the one with the single mattress was a poor quality mattress with a partition in the middle that made sleeping there a punishment. After three nights they gave us a somewhat better mattress. The fan did not work well so we could never rest. You can hear everything from the street at night. Lousy Wi-Fi. There were several ants in our bathroom and there was a rather disgusting sewer smell. The concept itself is nice but we were disappointed from day one.

E	Eric on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is by far the worst hotel in Tulum and it’s not even close. The whole place is a dump. The owners don’t care about this place and it shows. Not a single bartender can make a cocktail. The absolute worst mojito I’ve ever had in my life. I got stomach pain from one sip. The day beds on beach and entire property are trash. And if it couldn’t get any worse they have a deranged untrained wild dog on their property that literally runs up on people on the beach and bites them. I’m not kidding and they don’t care that the dog bites random people. This place should be shut down for good. Go stay literally anywhere else in Tulum.

Basic equipment and no AC, but totally worth it because of the ocean front location and nice surroundings! Fruits and yogurt for breakfast and a bottle of wine after checking in were nice!
