This was our best meal in Tulum! The shrimp risotto was absolutely to die for. Also, the prices were reasonable. Fantastic food, great service, beautiful interior decor. 100% recommend

I tried this restaurant 6 months ago and I still have a vivid memory of their good food and hospitality. The main waiter was really easy to talk to, not intrusive like in places with overly friendly staff and able to provide good suggestions for food and the area. One of the best octopus I ever tried and the best fish tacos we had in Mexico. Definitely a restaurant to put on your list when visiting tulum.

Incredibly delicious shrimp tacos!!! The best we had in Tulum yet. Quesadilla style tacos, super cheesy and fresh. The restaurant has also a very nice vibe, great service and good prices (relatively to other establishments in the Hotel area). I would definitely recommend everyone to try this place!

The food was great, the service was great. The area is very expensive and La Corriente is reasonably priced in comparison to some of the surrounding places. We had a wonderful evening here and would definitely recommend.

This is a good seafood restaurant if you are in the beach area. What I liked the best was Blood Mary! İt was so delicious! I had the non alcoholic one but I guess all taste amazing. We had the ceviche and octopus. Octopus is big, which means it looks amazing and it tastes quite good; however it is not as tender as I expected it to be. Our waiter was very helpful and friendly. İt is a good option if you want to eat seafood in the beach area. But if you want to eat excellent seafood, try Tulum centre.

Quaint little restaurant on this massive strip of bar, beach clubs and other tasty spots to choose from. La Corrientes serves up a mean array of incredible prepared dishes. We decided to be bold and ordered the “Whole fish” off their menu. I am at a loss for words, WOW, it was high on the list if not on top of our list for best food we’ve had in Mexico, period. If you are visiting for the first time. Try it, if you have ordered whole fish other places and thing “not for me” try it. This fish will change your life. Not to mention 2x1 beer specials! And in a beautifully done up location, what more could you ask for! So only our first night and we’re impressed with you Tulum. We are definitely trying this place out again before departing back home. Try it! You won’t regret it. I surely don’t.

OMG. Amazing AMAZING fresh seafood with Mexican twist. LOVED it!! Friendly waiters. Had a Lobster Catch-of-the-Day; served with rice and beans, salsas and grilled buttered tortillas. Dee-lish. Other orders included soft shell crab Tacos which were delicious too; & one in party was Vegetarian (roasted cauliflower and avocado-tostada -she liked both!). NOS ENCANTA LA COMIDA AQUI. RECOMMEND!!

This place was amazing! We just went in for a quick bite and didn't expect to have such a phenomenal meal! I got the Arabes Shrimp Tacos, but replaced the flour tortillas with corn because I'm allergic to gluten, and our servers were so cautious with my allergy it was lovely. The drinks were delicious and the food was even better, we were delighted to eat there and will be returning. Our wonderful servers were Hector and Elia. Five stars!
