Food was terrific. Ince we got it. I must say that the service here was one of the worst I have ever experienced. The wait staff was totally overwhelmed and there didn't seem to be anyone in a leadership role to direct them. We waited for drinks for an incredibly long time and the food was also delayed by the chaos of the waitstaff. Please have them here good runners and a person to direct the waiters. The food was delicious when we got it, albeit in fits and starts.

We have been to La Dolce four times in two weeks, each time the food has been fantastic the service however, twice has been really good and twice not so good. Seems to depend on which side of the restaurant to sit on. Garden side service has been excellent the opposite side the first time we had to wait over 15 minutes to order a drink and several times we actually had to go find our waiter to order food. Last night started out really well, server was quite attentive brought us a drink took our food order and then we did not see him again. Others food came out even though we had ordered before them (pasta carbonara) we never were asked if we would like another drink, asked about our food, waiter was short with us. It takes away for the whole experience if service is lacking. Take away. If you don’t get a table on the garden side you may be in for a disappointing and frustrating evening.

Very nice staff and our food came very quickly. It was fresh and very tasty, loved that the pizza had a thinner crust. Would definitely come back and recommend to other people!

Been there twice. Nice place, nice staff, pretty garden, nice patio, inside dining too. The pasta must be awesome because it's always busy at nite, but our pizza (two kinds) & drinks were just ok, so-so. Ask the waiter what he recommends perhaps.

Too busy. Service was poor as a result. Food was good but nothing that you can't find elsewhere. Response to Response from Owner Sure - it was like our waiter forgot about us. As an example we ordered desserts and coffees. The coffees came and the desserts never showed up. Everyone had finished their coffees and no sign of the desserts. We finally tracked down a waiter and eventually the desserts showed up but everyone was done by then and one likes to have coffee with dessert. Trying to pay was the worst part. We asked three times for our bill and then figured that if we started moving towards the door it would speed things up. No such luck - we could have walked out and no one would have noticed. After waiting at the door, talking to waiters going by, the bartender and the woman at reception we finally had someone show up with our bill. No apologies, no adjustment to the bill, or explanation of any sort. Disappointing. I understand every restaurant has a bad night and things go awry. Our experience bordered on ridiculous however. We were disappointed as we had brought friends and were looking forward to experiencing the restaurant.

Don't underestimate the pizza in this town! Love love any fish meal they make but the pizza here is our very favorite. They do a nice job with takeout too!

We had an excellent dinner, with fresh pasta and wood fired pizza. Dessert special was also excellent along with the service. I saw another review that claimed it was too expensive. Not so in my opinion relative to U S prices I am used to, or compared to another nearby premium Italian restaurant in Nuevo Vallarta Marina. And the food here was comparable or better.

Great food,good service,try and get a spot out side so fresh and cool.very reasonable priced
