The pizza at their old location was good; the pizza at their new location is probably the best in San Miguel (and the competition is getting fierce). Perfect wood-fired crust, tangy sauce, imaginative toppings (although the classics shine through, too). Our first choice.

Apsolutly ameizing place just loved .. pizzas are hand made daily . Everithing from the dough to the sauce, and every added ingredient is always fresh, and of the best 100% natural quality.

The were other mentions about the calamari not being good. They were right. The rest of the food came out cold. Asked to reheat and they blamed it on the weather - really?? Got to dessert and had to pass.

Super delicious pizza, one of the best I've ever had. Thin crust, fresh delicious ingredients. The pizza grande is good for two people to share. Not the cheapest option but worth the price. Staff were friendly and attentive too.

Excellent Italian food, a great stop for lunch or dinner after or before you visit the nearby Allende Garden and Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel. Highly recommended!

Outstanding pizza made with fine craft ingredients. Management and service were outstanding during my visit, they took the time to ensure every detail was perfect. La Grotta was a highlight during my visit to San Miguel de Allende, highly recommended. All pasta is made in-house

I was excited to eat my pizza when it first came to the table. It was a beautiful pizza in a cool little restaurant. It was hands down the worst pizza I've ever had. It had no tomato sauce. It had only a few very thin slices of tomato. It was basically mozzarella on a beautiful crust with basil. Maybe that is the style here (or perhaps it's the style in Italy). If it is, I apologize for the review. It was inedible. I politely let the two men know. I was offered no remake or remedy. That is fine, but for the price I expected better. I don't mind paying a fair price, but not for that.
