★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Es un reciente espacio creado por jóvenes interesados en arte contemporáneo y diseño. El lugar era parte de una antigua fábrica textil, de hecho toda la zona estaba dedicada a la industria. San Miguelito, el barrio en el que está ubicada La Pajarera se encontraba muy cerca del ferrocarril, en la zona industrial de los límites de la antigua ciudad. Era y sigue siendo un barrio conflictivo con problemas de seguridad, delincuencia y otras problemáticas sociales.
La Pajareara nació como un faro con el que se pretende reavivar el barrio pero sobre todo acercar a sus habitantes a manifestaciones creativas y exponerlos al arte como forma de lucha contra el entorno hostil. De paso, todos los habitantes de la ciudad pueden beneficiarse de sus cursos, talleres y actividades que incluyen charlas o visitas de los artistas contemporáneos más importantes del momento en el país.
Si bien las instalaciones son sencillas y modestas el esfuerzo que se hacer por ampliar los horizontes creativos de Puebla más allá de las artesanías y la tradición hacia nuevas formas de ver y hacer cosas es muy loable.
En la actualidad están planeando la segunda versión de un festival que, junto con el Museo del Ferrocarril, pretende cerrar parte de la calle para realizar conciertos y actividades durante el mes de octubre con la finalidad de traer otro ambiente al lugar. It is a recent space created by young people interested in contemporary art and design. The place was part of an old textile factory, in fact the whole area was dedicated to industry. San Miguelito, the neighborhood in which La Pajarera is located, was very close to the railroad, in the industrial zone on the edge of the old city. It was and continues to be a troubled neighborhood with security, crime and other social problems.
La Pajareara was born as a lighthouse with which it is intended to revive the neighborhood but above all to bring its inhabitants closer to creative manifestations and expose them to art as a way of fighting against the hostile environment. By the way, all the inhabitants of the city can benefit from its courses, workshops and activities that include talks or visits by the most important contemporary artists of the moment in the country.
Although the facilities are simple and modest, the effort that is made to expand Puebla's creative horizons beyond handicrafts and tradition towards new ways of seeing and doing things is highly commendable.
They are currently planning the second version of a festival that, together with the Railway Museum, intends to close part of the street to carry out concerts and activities during the month of October in order to bring another atmosphere to the place.
