P	Plamena Petrova on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good location - about 5 mins from the main street and the beach. It was quiet on most nights. Staf was also ok. BUT the hotel is in urgent need of renovation and proper cleaning. Everything is old and broken. The bedsheets had multiple stains and looked yellowish. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting and also the shower was too low and my husband (190sm) struggled to wash his hair. Breakfast is ok except the fruits which on most days had rotten taste. I would avoid this hotel.

Our safe didn’t work and we asked for help but nothing came of it, so we padlocked our stuff in our bag instead. Balcony door also didn’t lock. Recommend a room away from the road for traffic noise.
D	Dominick Maone on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the perfect place to stay in Playa. I will definitely stay here again. Within one block of wal mart, oxxo, circle k, and a really nice park. Staff were super friendly. Had blackout curtains. Huge bed. Breakfast was at restaurant next door and was pretty good. Be careful on the balcony, the door stays locked and you can not open from outside. And the shower sprays water all over through gaps in the door.

The room was very cute, and the ascetics of the hotel are very nice too. Breakfast was good, you get a plate of fruit, choice of drink, and a main entree. It is located on the patio next door. The pools are very nice, and not very busy. Plenty of places to sit around the hotel too. For the price you are really getting a nice experience. It has a predominantly couples clientele, didn’t see any families. It was not loud at all. Not sure what others were referring too on that. I was very happy with the hotel, and would certainly stay here again.

American breakfast was included and it was on a lovely outdoor patio. We especially appreciated Gustavo's help with so many things. (He's there morning, noon and night. Literally. Does her live there?) We would definitely stay here again!

So many restaurants around, not noisy at night. The beds are super comfortable. Hot tubs could use more cleaning as well as some general areas. Beautiful terrace pool with great views. Good value for money.

The room was small but with a nice classic Mexico style and well furnished with quality soap and toiletries and a safe for valuables plus a balcony. There is a rooftop pool with covered beds and a warm jacuzzi with great views of the city's rooftops. There is free secure parking in the 2 floor basement and a free cooked waiter-served (not buffet) breakfast that was very enjoyable. I found the service at the hotel to be far better than other similarly priced hotels in the same area -- friendly and helpful. The check-in process took a fraction of the time of nearby competitors and didn't waste valuable vacation time. If you are looking for a basic budget option in the heart of Playa Del Carmen, this is a great choice!
