C	Corinna Schwozer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice atmosphere hidden in a side alley - would have never gone in if we hadn't read the recommendations online. Their "pizzas" are definitely their strong suit - an Italian would never call it pizza but it's delicious :)

We had great food, great smoothies, we even got a free guacamole! And took a selfie with him as well!:) Can only recommend. Also on Sunday nights they have live music. We'll definitely coming back today! Try the burritos! Especially the vegan burrito! Ready for food heaven? Btw - the pizza is also incredibly good! Very laid back place, doesn't look as fancy at all from the outside but inside you'll find paradise! :)

The portions are very big and all dishes we tried were delicious (we got the guacamole, ceviche, chicken nachos, chicken burrito and chiles rellenos). Cocktails were not very strong on alcohol but tasty. Very nice and polite staff, they even brought us mosquito repellent the moment we sat down. We did not experience any huge delay, not more than any average restaurant (but we came at 19:00). There was live music as well.

Bacalar has changed a lot, and while there have been changes at La Piña...the quality and care remain the same. Neyder and the crew are first class with top notch service. Amongst the great choices, Los Molletes and Chilaquiles are out of this world. Great mix of meat and veg options with a really varied drinks menu (Los Amigos is a great mezcal cocktail choice). Would be back in a heartbeat if lucky enough to be back in Bacalar.
V	Viviane Kas on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't understand the hype. We waited more than 1h30 to order and get our food. The ceviche was not seasoned, the meat on the huarache was chewy and the chicken had nothing special. One star for the drinks that were made with fresh fruits.

The atmosphere is relaxed and casual, with good reggae and latin tunes playing (sometimes live music - the singer who was there the first night we visited was excellent!). There is an indoor area, but everyone heads for the outdoor area - a sandy tropical garden feel - and there is bug spray on offer from the servers to fend off mosquitos in the evening. The drinks are excellent (I loved the 'drunk smoothies', especially Amigo and Mariachi) and the food is delicious. The molletes, chilaques and empanadas are all favourites, and the ceviche is really good and a generous serving. Neyder was our server each time we went, and his energy, helpfulness and friendliness really made it that extra bit special. Can't wait to go back!

There are no physical menus so I was left having to scan a QR code and read the menu from my tiny phone screen. Not once did any of the staff walk over to my table: this meant I had to walk over to the kitchen and order and get the bill myself. Maybe it was the day I arrived but from my experience this restaurant felt dead. Hopefully a change of staff can liven up the atmosphere.
H	Hana on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stuff is super sweet, they brought second plate of chips as a appetizer. Burrito with a shrimps was awesome. Very fresh and tasty ? The only thing is that they could reconstruct and clean the toilets a little bit. But beside that, food is very good. Thank you!
