Residential area with private security and community pool, very quiet and secluded. You have to go prepared with insect repellent; the place is in the middle of the jungle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Privada is a gated comunite that feature several different homes for vacational rental. I loved that they asked for ID all the time while entering the comunity. Make me feel safe. Definitely if you are looking for a place to party NOT the place. They have estrict noise level rules. Gorgeous common areas.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The house we stayed in for our vacation rental was amazing. It was in t the back corner of the area (northwest) at the round about. Felt like we were literally in the jungle.
This area is about 15 to 20 minutes to get to the beach depending on traffic. It was simple to get a taxi to and from if you didn’t want to drive. Taxis can add up quickly in cost though. This was the only real downside of the house. The location to the main town and grocery store was very convenient though!!!
The house had a rooftop pool, rooftop hot tub, rooftop grill. Four bedrooms each having there own bath.
Amazing floor layout with an awesome kitchen and decor!
Stay here if you have a big group of people and couples!
