★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is in a prime location, the food is ok but the restaurant looks dirty and needs love, the waiters looks overworked which is understandable however the cleanliness could be better observed

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Boasting its longevity as the oldest bar standing in PDC, this is the kind of Mexican beach bar in Jimmy Buffet songs. Featuring fish on the menu, you can get a decent filet and choose your sauce (I am a fan of Veracruz style), some basic fish tacos, or the fish soup while you sip a strong margarita or a cold beer and enjoy the ocean view and local ambiance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely amazing spot. My boyfriend and I ate here twice during our 6 night stay in Playa del Carmen. The pescado frito (fried fish) was fantastic, perfectly cooked. I would also recommend both the ceviche and the cocteles. For anyone who doesn't particularly love seafood, the chicken fajitas and chicken yuca were also great. Service was quick, views of the beach were gorgeous. We would come back again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very affordable and tasty. One of the best places to have a meal and enjoy the view. Waiters are super distracted and may even be rude but, please, don't take it personal. I've visited this place since I lived in Playa del Carmen ten years ago. They have barely increased their prices since then and must have sacrificed a lot to keep that business running. There are old photos hanging on a corner. Don't expect a fancy restaurant. Instead, this place is more like a museum and one of the longest-surviving businesses in Playa del Carmen. Please, be patient of you have a seat here or you can choose other options if you're in a hurry.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this place! They have many umbrellas and beach chairs and a restaurant which looked delicious! Cost to rent beach chairs and umbrella for two people was 250$ pesos. Margaritas were only 100 pesos and are highly recommended! I would gladly return. This place is cash only so bring your pesos.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Entirely unassuming gem - super cheap prices for super high quality food. With the help of Google translate (all Spanish menu), we pieced together an order of various shrimp, fish, and chicken preparations and enjoyed every one of them. Portions were generous for both the food and the drinks; along with the location right on the beach, would highly recommend a visit.
