★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been here every time I’ve come to Mexico City and always will. This is a family run torta shop, they’re always very patient with my broken Spanish and lead me through the menu if there’s something I don’t understand.
Make sure to get red chilli in your torta (they’re not spicy but really delicious), and if you like a bit of heat some green chilli on the side

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really tasty tortas, I tried the bacalao one day and the carnitas y queso blanco another and they were both great. The owners were really friendly even though my Spanish is awful. I would definitely recommend the carnitas, I wish I'd got two on my last visit.
