Some of the best – if not the best – food I have eaten in Mexico. Make sure to try the sausage, and don’t miss the pork fat tortillas. Phenomenal.

Honestly one of the best places I've eaten. It is very authentic, local, freshly made food. The prices were very low, they could easily charge more if they wanted to. The portion is quite big. Lot of locals are coming to eat here. FREE PARKING on premises. Very friendly staff who speak a bit of English. They have very delicious home-made tortillas. No beers tho, but coca cola is nicely cooled. If in the area it is a must go!!

We were brought here by the touring service we hired as a recommendation. Restaurant is very hidden, you probably couldn't find it driving through the roads as it was in an alley. There are not many tables and we got there a a pretty good time so there was not many people. I have to say this place serves some Amazing food. We ordered the Poc-Chuc de Puerto (pork). It was thinly sliced pork with radishes, onion and cilantro accompanied by FRESHLY MADE corn tortillas. Omg..the combination of the great tasting meat with fresh tortillas was PERFECT! This was one of the best meals we had on our vacation. We wanted to go back but it was too far from where we were staying, about 2 hrs out ☹. They also had a plate with Longaniza which is a type of chorizo and that also came with fresh tortillas. There were 5 in our party and we left very happy and super full. The prices are great especially for the food you get and the service was also great. Out waiters were there to offer up refills or different drink selections. The owner even brought us out samples of other foods they offer just so we can experience the other menu items. If you like egg, try the Emcamisados. It's basically an egg enrobed into a corn tortilla baked fresh. Their Horchatas was also the best we drank and they also have other flavors to which I forgot but we enjoyed those too. The owner let us go into the kitchen where the ladies were making the corn tortillas by hand to watch. He even let me try and make one but of course mine looked like a football but it was a great experience. While we were back there we noticed that not only do they hand make the tortillas, the cook them over a wood fire. It smelt so good and the ladies put alot of pride and work into their food. I couldn't recommend this place more. When we go back, we will make it a point to go back and this time take extra. I hope you give it a try too. You will not be disappointed!
