We arrived to a completely empty restaurant during peak dinner hours. There was no one waiting at the entrance. We rang a bell at the counter and after some time, a pleasant woman greeted us and let us in the roped off outdoor dining area. She gestured for us to choose a table. We sat at one of the three tables under the covered patio. The ambiance and decore were nice and the table was beautiful. But then a small blond man appeared from nowhere and demanded that we move tables to one that was getting rained on. He was rude and showed us no courtesy. I declined, due to the rain. He pulled the table out abruptly and gestured for us to sit. We then had to move tables. We ordered their signature dish—a jackfruit burger with 7 chiles. We also ordered a dip made from pumpkin seeds as an appetizer. The dip arrived on a beautiful wooden tray with two small wooden bowls. Although the plate was aesthetically pleasing, the food was frankly not delicious. The dip was runny and insufficiently blended. It was bland and without flavor. It lacked sophistication. The breadsticks that accompanied the dip were very unevenly toasted—some burnt, others not yet crisped. It was very unfortunate. Despite our hunger we could not finish the tiny portion. Next came the jackfruit burger. It came on another wooden board with sweet potatoes on a banana leave and a few tiny wooden dishes with assorted sauce. Although it looked appetizing, I am so sad to say that this dish was the greatest disappointment of all. I noticed right away that the sweet potatoes were raw—they had no color at all. And when I tried one, they were so undercooked that they were crunchy!! They also lacked any kind of flavor or seasoning. Only a few crystals of sea salt garnished the tops—no oil, no butter, no chile, no pepper, no nothing. We summoned the waiter. After trying to get his attention 4 or 5 times, he finally came over. We informed him that that sweet potatoes were inedible. We asked him to take them back to cook them through. With a very bad attitude, an unhappy expression, and without apologizing or saying a word, he grabbed the tray of potatoes, leaving us with no plate for the burger, then in my hands. In the meantime, we tried the burger. It came with a soft floury top bun that looked home-baked. Inside was a thin mushy burger patty made with a tiny portion of jackfruit. The patty was bland, lacked any kind of flavor, and had a squishy texture. Unlike the waiter’s description, the burger was completely devoid of the enticing flavor of 7 chiles. The most overpowering taste in the burger was salt, which seemed to come from the vegan “cheese” made from oversalted mashed potato. The sauces were inconsistent and underwhelming. The “salsa macha” which is supposed to be a delicious peanut based sauce, had an almost crumbly texture with large chucks of salt and no discernable flavor. The green habanero sauce was nondescript and lacked salt, but was at least edible. And the dish also came with a small portion of the same pumpkin dip we had ordered separately. A good waiter might have pointed that out. After about a half hour or perhaps more, the waiter returned with a plate of sweet potatoes. Frowning and without a word, he set them down on the table and disappeared. This batch of sweet potatoes was even more undercooked than the first one. They were uneatable. And the sauce he brought was even more separated that the first one and had a strange watery substance on top. Never did the waiter return to ask us about our experience or apologize for serving us raw food, or ask if the second batch was better. He was simply not interested in serving us or ensuring that we were satisfied. From the nervous grimace he gave while passing our table, he was clearly uncomfortable with the idea of a customer identifying problems with the food. After sitting and staring at a plate of raw sweet potatoes for 15-20 minutes, we asked for the check and paid and exorbitant sum of money for abysmal service and terribly disappointing food. What a total shame.

A must try when in Valladolid, the best vegan restaurant in town period. Menu is simple but everything on it is mind blowing. Service is excellent and owners there are present which is crucial una restaurant business! Prices are very decent the overall experience is that Valladolid wouldn’t be the same without this place.

Vegan burger in Valladolid! This place is so delicious and the owner is so nice. They opened it 10 days ago and they have a vision to create everything from local fresh ingredients, and it's most definitely feels like it, fresh and tasty. We ordered two Yaca burgers with the purple sweet potato fries with a cucumber drink. It was delicious.
