★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What I like about this place is how attentive they are here. If what you want isn't on the menu they'll see if'n they can make it for you anyway. Even if they have to go out and get any missing ingredients. Or a tea you prefer. Vegetables instead of rice and beans? No problem. They aim to please. ?
Live music on Sundays.
It's inside a kind of courtyard away from traffic noise. Nice atmosphere.
And not too expensive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ah! A classic one. A favorite for a variety of tourists. This is a must see. I’ve visited this place every year or so and I’m never disappointed. The food is delicious and the tortillas are fresh. Always a delight.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Puerto Escondido has many amazing food options. If this restaurant was compared to all those amazing options it would not stand up so well. The best ones being located in Bacocho and Zicatela. However for this area of Purto Escondido (Centro)... if you wanted something walking distance under 5 minutes. This restaurant is probably the best one ☝️ around and would get 5 stars. It’s a traditional Mexican restaurant. Very generous portions and service. They don’t nickel and dime you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We really liked this place as far as the food. Food was great! ?Service was awesome! Ask to be seated by a fan if you want to eat comfortable in a very hot day. Prices were about what we would pay in Texas for something similar. Based on that I gave it a 3 and a half. But I can't do halfs here lol. If you are looking for good service and good food this place is for you, Enjoy! If you are on a budget keep looking?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing service! We ordered the empanadas and tlayudas. Both were very delicious and the mango water jugs very refreshing. The prices blew my mind and I was very pleased we found this place with great service and delicious food. 10/10 would definitely recommend this place!
