No hay información alguna sobre los sitios arqueológicos de Quintana Roo, tampoco tiene piezas originales, la mayoría son reproducciones, está muy obscuro, en verdad, falta mayor "información sobre la cultura Maya desarrollada en nuestro Estado de Quintana Roo" esperaba más de éste sitio, ya que se encuentra en la capital del Estado.
(También hay dos fotos de los murales de cacaxlta atrás de la replica de la serpiente que están fuera de contexto, ¿nadie se ha dado cuenta?). Está mejor visitar el Museo de la Ciudad de Chetumal, allá está mejor estructurado, organizado y rico en información sobre Quintana Roo, en el museo de la ciudad de chetumal tiene una impresionante línea del tiempo que deberían ustedes tener sobre los vestigios mayas y por supuesto de las tantas zonas arqueológicas que tenemos en Quintana Roo.
