★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately, they are closed. After attempting 2 ruins that were over an hour away we gave up. I remembered that they have a government site for the ruins. Nothing in Quintana Roo is open. There are a few ruins open in Campeche. I suggest checking the government website before attempting any ruins at this time. Since this is such a small location with one ruin I’m unsure if they are not open due to covid or if they are ever open. You can see it from the main road. You can also pull off onto a side road for pictures but I didn’t see access unless you climb on through.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ During our last visit to Bacalar, we found this nice spot with an interesting Mayan pyramid just right there on the road. ?
We made a stop in Limones ? town and we bought some souvenirs, refreshing coconut ? juice and some snacks & we also visited the pyramid there.
It was fun !
