Great tours! Quickie and Manny had us feeling like old friends having a wonderful day. Manny knows his stuff. We went snorkeling with turtles and also saw stingrays and reef fish, got to swim in an open cenote, had a fabulous lunch of fish & shrimp tacos and then sailed on an 82' catamaran up the coast from Tulum for 2.5 hours. Fun, value, fun! Go if you can.

We just finished a tour with Gil through Captain Quickie and it was AMAZING! Quickie and his guys know how to show a family an epic time! Our family of 4, including 10 and 15 year old sisters, was picked up in PDC at 8. We then explored Tulum, zip lined, swam in two cenotes, snorkeled in a cave, swam with turtles and had a fantastic lunch at a small local restaurant. All this while learning about the history, culture and wildlife of the Yucatán from Gil's encyclopedic knowledge of the area. Throughout the day my wife and I were literally looking at each other with our jaws hanging open amazed at the experiences we were providing our children. We had such an amazing time that we are booking a second tour for later in the week. Go out with these guys. It is worth every penny!

Used these guys for our excursion to the Mayan Ruins, snorkeling with turtles & swimming in cenotes. Not to mention the great lunch. Our driver, Alex, picked us up in the morning, we picked up our guide, Carla, from Local Quickies HQ and we were off! You truly do feel like you get to tour part of Mexico with friends. Very nice, sweet people! Thank you guys for being so great!!

Spent the afternoon aboard Captain Quickies catamaran for a bachelor party. It was an incredible experience with a great crew. Food was great, drinks were great. Captain Quickie really went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. Thanks again!

My wife and I did the Signature Tour in 2013 and 2017. My wife actually learned to snorkel on the 2013 trip after previous failed attempts on our own. When returning this year, Quickie suggested that maybe we try something new and took us, along with some of his friends, on a trip through the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve. We traveled between lagoons in channels dug 1200 years ago by the Mayans. Numerous birds, a few manatee sightings and a crocodile. It was fantastic. At the time of this writing, there are only 15 reviews here. If that makes you nervous, go check Trip Advisor. They have over 900 reviews. Local Quickies does not have a store front. Streetview still shows his original location but he is no longer there, so don't be shocked when you walk down the street and find a pharmacy there. His office is virtual now. Phone him, WhatsApp him, or contact him through the website form. Yes, there is a "Captain Quickie". Quickie is an anglicized version of his real name. When you hear his real name you will realize that "Quickie" is a close as you are going to get to it! He is as nice a person as you will meet and he has a great knowledge of the history of the area. He is also very active in protecting the environment of the area. Besides our new experience, we were hoping to get another sailing trip with him. When Quickie didn't have a sailing that fit into our schedule, he arranged a nice trip for us with a competitor. If you are looking for a small group tour that you will remember, Local Quickies is where you should start.

Captain Quickie and his team took myself and 9 of my girlfriends out while we were vacationing in Mexico. It was an amazing trip!! I had a friend on the boat that had a hurt back and Captain Quickie went out of his way to help her and make her feel comfortable. This excursion was my favorite thing out of my entire 5 day trip in Mexico. I highly recommend Local Quickies and will defiantly call Captain Quickie for an excursion the next time I am in Mexico!!
