This company attempted to accuse my friends and I of being unresponsive and dishonest. Not only is that not true, I would argue that they may be attempting to find new ways to make money off of guests that fall outside the normal methods of a property management and rental company. PLEASE beware and do not stay at their properties, whether listed on AirBnB or any other platform!

The most important thing for me is to be able to own a property and rent it without any type of stress because of this activity. Lockey allowes me to have an additional income stream from my property at Aldea Zama - Tulum while being able to focus on my full-time job and family. In contrast to other similar companies, Lockey offers a quick, friendly service and enhances my experience as property owner.

Lockey has the best property locations and ammenities. Their service is one of a kind. I would definitely recommend staying with them.

Lockey PM manages an excellent variety of vacation rentals ideal for individuals, small groups and family trips. We really enjoyed our stay at the Aldea Zama complex.

The Condo although nice, is very unclean and neglected. We had no hot water the first day after long international flights here. The water heater was burned out and smelled of an electrical fire.The oven has no knobs, the microwave is burnt and smells atrocious. The pillows in this condo should've been BURNED months ago. They're dirty, stained and smelly. The lampshade in the Master bdrm is completely trashed and smells horribly of mildew and is water damaged. Sleeping next to a water damaged, mildew filled dresser was extremely hard. Especially for someone with allergies. Along with numerous dirty unkempt walls, there are water stains on many of the walls. This condo was advertised as having a coin laundry that is not true. Then to top it all off, we spent our first night with no power and no information of how to reset the air conditioners. We have been very loyal Vrbo/Homeaway renters for years and have never had such a problematic experience. There are NO reviews on Vrbo for a reason. Renters...Avoid this unit. Property Owners...Find another company.

Responsive but inept. Don’t trust them with your deposit! I gave them 500 deposit but only received 350 back. They couldn’t explain to me what they charged were for. Apartment came with broken water heater and broken stove.

Avoid them! Do not rent with them. I had a terrible experience with one of their properties in Akumal, Mexico. No hot water, no WiFi, water leaking everywhere, broken microwave. I requested a partial refund but they wouldn’t comply. They’re thieves and scammers.

We rented a unit through VRBO and this company manages it. The unit was misrepresented as a 2 bedroom with a king and queen sized bed. The queen bed was a full at best and could not accommodate 2 adults as we had planned. I told them of their mistake and they said they would take the wrong information down. I immediately took screen shots of the original listing and I am glad that I did because the next argument they had was that it did not claim to have a queen size bed (of course it didn't because I made them aware of their mistake and they fixed it). I asked for a small refund ($100/ day since it was not as advertised) and they just kept going around in circles. I asked to be moved to a more suitable condo and that was ignored. The couple that had that room had to sleep on a pull out sofa which is located in the living area of the condo so when they were sleeping it made the rest of the common areas unusable. We are adults in our 40's and that is not ok. That is not the experience we paid a holiday premium to have. I tried to be reasonable and offer solutions but all they offer is excuses. I will NEVER rent a property from this company in the future. Owners beware they are not handling your properties or the needs of your renters in a professional manner.
