Lofts On Basilio - 48380 Puerto Vallarta

I’ve always wanted to live in a loft. So my stay at Lofts on Basilio was a dream come true! Not only was this my first time in Puerto Vallarta, but I was celebrating my 30th birthday with a few close friends. The loft me and my friend stayed in was the two bedroom loft and it was so spacious! Not only did our loft come with a full washer and dryer, but also a full kitchen. This made our stay so much easier and made us feel close to home without a steep price tag. The shower was clean, spacious and modern with an amazing rain shower head. Something I definitely wish I had in my own home. The loft came with two smart tv, but honestly we were out and about enjoying and exploring Puerto Vallarta to where we couldn’t find time to just relax on the couch or bed to catch our favorite episodes, but having that as an option was awesome too. The only complaint I had was the sound of the mangos dropping from the tree outside of the bedroom window onto a tin carport. I did find it difficult sleeping at night as it would wake me up, but I discussed a possible solution with the owner and I am excited to see if she will follow through. Prior to booking our stay, Alecia, the owner was super helpful in answering all my one off questions about the loft, local area, and general excursions in Puerto Vallarta. There was a binder of local favorite eateries and spots that was waiting for us to browse at our loft that help made our trip easier to navigate and more authentic. Alecia had every possible occasion or scene laid out for us to just pick where we wanted to eat or visit. My favorite restraint was Bistro Theresa. The rooftop bar and pool was amazing with a gorgeous scenery of the city and nearby Mango trees. Perfect for watching the sun come up and go down, but most importantly perfect for all your photo ops. All in all I will find myself booking a loft at this hotel again as the location was waking distance to all of the lgbt nightlife, Downtown Puerto Vallarta and delicious food.

What a beautiful loft complex. Very well styled, high ceilings & stunning rooftop pool lounge. Nick was a delightful host and this space is highly recommended for a large group traveling together. We will all be back very soon.

Highly recommended for those looking for cozy loft stay experience, conveniently located in PV! Awesome host, great hospitality. This is our first trip together since COVID19 and it’s all worth it. We got the 2-bed loft, HUGE space, love the high ceiling, the bed was so comfy I had the best sleep ever! Thanks for the welcome beer ? in the room ?? (great touch). We love the mix of modern contemporary + Mexican flairs, the arts in the room are great. Awesome rooftop area to enjoy the sun ☀️ while enjoying the panoramic view of PV. We will definitely be back ?

Absolutely fantastic experience! My wife and I stayed in the penthouse, and it was well worth the extra cost. Super clean. Air conditioning. One block below the rooftop pool. Great WIFI. Amazing and fun neighborhood. We hope to return. Art and Yumi

Stayed here awhile back and wasn’t overly impressed. The building itself is very nice and modern. Lots of money has been put into the place to renovate it, the roof top area and pool are great with a wonderful view. However with my stay we were rented the basement room which had no natural light. There was no hot water. I couldn’t use the tv because the remote was from a different brand then what was in the room. The coffee pot had not been cleaned since the last person and full of mold. There is a water feature type waterfall that runs down the outside wall. Which is very noisy and doesn’t turn off till midnight. It also causes the room to be very humid and smells. Sadly the photos online don’t represent the room I stayed in. And I had to deal with it for the 3 nights I was there... other then that it’s located in a semi convenient location about 12 mins from the beach on a rather busy and noisy main road. I’m sure the other rooms are nice, however I wouldn’t return because of the above issues I encountered ...

The lofts are spacious, modern, and in a great location for nightlife. The wiFi was fast and reliable, cleaning staff were friendly, and the building access was easy and secure. The rooftop pool is awesome with great views of the city and ocean. I’ll stay here every time.

Our stay at the Lofts on Basilio and made our vacation to Puerto Vallarta great! We stayed in the two story loft (302). The loft was clean  and decorated nicely. The actual lofts look just like the pictures posted on their website. The A/C worked great and the beds were comfortable. The loft is a cool, open design. The back, two story wall, is a big window with power blackout blinds. It comes with a full kitchen and has a full water cooler for all the clean drinking water you need. The bathroom is very large with a massive shower with two shower heads. The area is safe and secure and the whole facility has cameras with a camera screen in the room.  The place also has built-in Alexa and nice Sonos speaker you can connect your phone to. The staff clean the room and make up the beds everyday and were very kind! There is a cool roof top pool and common area with a fridge for your drinks and rooftop bathrooms. Most importantly was the central location! The lofts are just a few minutes to everything by walking! There are several coffee shops and breakfast spots steps away. The beach and several beach bars are also walking distance away. Beach towels are provided in the lofts. At night, the Lofts and street are lit and very safe. Bars and clubs are a short walk away which is very convenient and adds so much to the downtown Puerto Vallarta experience. Everything is keyless, so there are no keys to lose at the bar! HIGHLY recommend staying here and the host is very responsive and attentive with any questions you might have about your loft or the area.

We have stayed here multiple times now and will keep coming back. The location is great, being centrally located and walking distance to the bars and restaurants, as well as the beach. The building itself is beautifully renovated with really nice rooms. There roof top and infinity pool is a great place to chill with terrific views over the city.
