The guy in reception was pretty rude. Also, there wasn't any hot water in the room. Only lice-headed hippies stay here.

This place has reasonable prices despite the fact that it is on the beach ... service is a bit slow and portions for some of the entrees are a bit small but from what we ordered the food was tasty and it was well worth it I ordered the Zipolite style spaghetti which has mushrooms and green pepper in tomato sauce for 50 pesos and my partner ordered the classic fish burger which is accompanied with natural french fries for 60 pesos. The burger was very filling and well balanced and the spaghetti was naturally flavored and went well with the toast ... we ate on the soft couch in the center of the restaurant because it was comfier than the chairs ... we also like that they had hammocks out near the sand and a foot basin you can use to wash off your feet Full disclaimer that they do not have any running water and you have to rinse your hands in a bucket of ocean water ... also if you are anywhere near the restaurant they make you wear clothes ... worth saying since it is next to a nude beach

Went to Lola’s everyday for breakfast while in Zipolite, very affordable and most importantly super tasty. Best chorizo and eggs and really yummy pancakes too.

Really great Mexican / Oaxaca breakfasts. Fresh coconut is a must, the fresh lemonade was also very refreshing on a hot day and nicely balanced sweetness. Lunch was really delicious too and large portions. Lovely service. Another spot you can lounge during the day if you’re buying drinks from the restaurant.
