Lorenzo's - 77500 Cancún

Had a delightful evening at Lorenzo’s. Our server for the evening, Omar, was incredibly helpful. Octopus for an appetizer got the meal started right. Omar recommended a goat-cheese pizza as an appetizer as well for the table to share and it was a GREAT addition. The seafood risotto and the shrimp parmigiana were both incredible! Great food combined with Omar’s hospitality made for an incredible evening at Lorenzo’s!

Italian restaurant with a wonderful wood fired oven to cook your dishes! Definitely some of the best food we had on property was here. The pizzas are perfectly personal sized and the appetizers come in a perfect single or small shared portion. The types of pizzas are a great range of traditional Italian styled flavors and Mexican twists. The salad bar has a nice range of antipasto choices.

We had a great dinner! Pizza Margarita, Caprese, Ravioli, Salmone, Filetto every dish was delicious. Our server Moises made our experience at Lorezo’s even better! Thank you Moises and Hayatt Ziva!

Amazing food, but only accessible to people staying at Hyatt Ziva. I would definitely recommend to dine at this place. Good pizza, pasta and drinks

Overall, eating at Lorenzo's is a must when staying at Hyatt Ziva Cancún. I had dinner and lunch here and frankly, I prefer lunch at Lorenzo's rather than dinner. My dinner experience would have been perfect, if I hadn't had a mysterious allergy to something in the minestrone soup. Nevertheless, I could rave on and on about their table focaccia bread and mini charcuterie board because this was honestly (and unfortunately) better than my main course. The focaccia was warm, fluffy, and tasty especially when paired with the parmesan, prosciutto, or sun dried tomatoes on the charcuterie board. Next, we each ordered a different burrata salad. I had the Burrata Dolce which was phenomenal. Then came my minestrone soup. It was delicious, piping hot and fresh, and... gave me an allergic reaction. Despite having informed the hostess and waiter of my nut and seafood allergy before dining, I believe my minestrone was contaminated at some point during its preparation. By the time my main course (the Filetto di manzo al gorgonzola) had arrived, my stomach was in a knot and I had difficulty enjoying the rest of my meal. My steak was delicious, but I was in pain. I wanted to redeem my experience at Lorenzo's so we had lunch there the next day and it was a thousand times better. For lunch, we ordered the Crispy Chicken Salad, a Linguine ai funghi, a Vegetarian pizza and a Frutti di mare (seafood) pizza. Thankfully, there was no cross contamination this time. The chicken from the salad was crispy, juicy, and tasty. The Linguine was light and creamy. And I will never forget the amazing Vegetarian pizza. Everything we ordered went so well with each other and the pizza was arguably better than the steak I had the night before. Lorenzo's had redeemed themselves before my family and I left Cancún. Ultimately, I would highly recommend having a pizza or pasta lunch at Lorenzo's rather than dinner. You're guaranteed to get amazing flavor and a great Italian meal experience.
