Los Aguachiles - 77710 Playa del Carmen

Had a lovely meal of ceviche, crispy squid and hot fried shrimp all were delicious. Lots of good sauces and large beers.

A classic in the isla. The best for me it’s the green aguachile and the jaibas al mojo de ajo. Also try de maracuya water.

8 of us went this restaurant for dinner a few days ago. Food was decent. Service was great but there was one major problem with our experience. 7 of us got our food first and it took 1 more hour for the last person to get any of his food. We were pretty upset and wanted to leave but the waitress kept insisting the food is coming soon. We were hoping we do not have to pay for the meal we got so late but they charged us for everything even though they knew we were not happy for the fact one of us got the food 1 hour late. I understand they were busy. However the last person who got the food 1 hour late ordered the same food as everyone else. I am not sure what happened in the kitchen. I understand things can happen and our experience might not reflect other people’s experience. However we were disappointed that they did nothing do keep us happy when they knew we waited so long. (We told them we wanted to leave before the last food came out but they kept us waiting and charged us for everything.). Our dining experience was far from perfect. I wanted to be fair with how many stars I give them. 2/5 star reflects our experience. Things can happen. Everyone can make a mistake. We were disappointed that the restaurant did not put our experience their top priority. They were just focused on delivering food. Delivering food to an angry customer has no meaning. There is definitely a room for improvement and we would like to come back because food was great and waitresses were friendly. I am leaving this review because I want the restaurant to hear the customer to improve their customer service.

If you’re looking to try aguachiles, this is the place to go! Extensive menu, great service (it was quick and accommodating), fresh fish, intricate dishes and lots of things to try. Will be back. Ceviche mixto, aguachile verde and their signature tuna Tikitiki are the dishes that I’d recommend.

Service in Mexico is always great!!! The food here was delicious Seafood. Started with a micheladad with tamarind rim. Has pulpo(octopus), tuna, cucumber filled with raw fish!! Honestly the best food I had during my 3 day stay in Playa del Carmen.

Really good seafood, with excellent service in English also. Try the Pescadore IPA and the wonderful tuna. The beer is perfectly balanced for seafood, washes away the spice without destroying the delicious food flavors. Highly recommended

This place had such tasty and fresh food, I loved it. Pulpo was so fresh, I could still feel his tentacles dancing in my mouth. Simply great. On top of that, service was on a high level, they were super friendly and I actually felt they were genuine. I highly recommend this place
