Peaceful and cool, shaded spot with (relatively) blazing-fast Wifi, excellent food, juices and coffee. Great service. I wish I had known about it the day I got here; it’s a bit off the beaten path just at the end of the avenida principal in Carizalillo.

They were so good we came back the next day and ordered breakfast. All was delicious! We loved the licuados de chocolate so much we ordered a second round! Owners were such nice people!!

I speak Spanish pretty well so I asked if they had coffee and espresso or only pot coffee since that was all I saw the male owner walking around with and didn’t visibly see or hear an espresso machine. Owner looked confused and irritated. Then asked a patron what I said (I said it in Spanish) and the patrón repeated what I said and owner responded annoyed with agitated face. He obviously didn’t want me there. I can only assume it was because I wasn’t a white tourist or Mexican! He was hella rude.

I rate the beverage higher than the food (but the food is still good). There is a chess table outside which you can easily spend 1/2hour on. The owner of the cafe is a gentle soul. You’ll enjoy his service. Message to the owner, can you add huevos divorciados to the menu?

Leti and her husband are super awesome! Highly recommend, we had a great time eating their amazing food, listening to music and talking to them!
