S	Sergio Ramirez on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staying at the Riu about a block away and we decided to walk over here and check out this place since my other half is a big Frida fan. One word: AMAZING!!!! A true gem of a place and our waiter, Miguel, gave us a master class in the art of tequila! If you’re visiting GDL, this place has to be on your to go list for a beautiful romantic night with your love or a fun time with your friends. The mole is to die for...just like the one abuelita makes. The food is excellent and you have to start with a “Cantarito”...they’re the typical house specialty and they’re oh so good!

Unaware that it was him, we asked for his recommendation on the best way to visit Tequila. He was incredibly accommodating and arranged a chofer and tour for us at the Cofradía distillery! We thoroughly enjoyed trying his famous cuisine prehispánica and highly reccommend both his food and his hospitality!

R	Ronda May on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The decor is pretty and the ambiance is quite nice and that's it. I tried the quesadillas de gusano (caterpillar) and chicken breast with molé poblano. Honestly, I couldn't finish the food it was so bad. The gusanos weren't the problem. The guacamole was terrible with way too much lime. The molé had no flavor and the chicken had the texture as if it was flash thawed. The quesadillas were the best with the cheese but the gusanos also weren't seasoned so the quesadilla just tasted like a cheese quesadilla. Over all it was a terrible food experience. I had really wanted to like the food and return to try more but that will not be happening.

It's a very unique place with good food and great drinks. Great spot if you want that Mexican experience with traditional cuisine. Must try pulque or tequilas.
