En la mayoría de pueblitos de Jalisco se acostumbraba producir alimentos muy sabrosos provenientes de los animales de la granja. Por ejemplo, en San Miguel, eran legendarias Vacas como “La Abeja”, “La Nena” y “La Muñeca” que daban y daban muuucha leche para producir Panela, Jocoqui, Queso Fresco, Natas y Yogurt con la ordeña del día.
¡Además de los “pajaretes” con chocomil por supuesto!
De las Gallinas alimentadas con granos como el maíz, sorgo, trigo y avena, se obtenía huevo 100% nutritivo o se dejaba una parte para que crecieran pollitos cuando las gallinas “estaban culecas” esto quiere decir que estaban dispuestas a empollar durante semanas.
Pues estos mismitos alimentos e ingredientes los puedes probar hoy en día porque en Los Chilaquiles traemos diariamente productos que elaboramos en nuestra propia quesería en el merito San Miguel. También de allá traemos el Huevo de Rancho (que ahora le llaman “Orgánico” por cierto) y que puedes acompañar con tostadas de maíz raspadas de una por una de forma artesanal en metates de piedra y tomar un champurradito o chocolate caliente con pan recién horneado.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mexican cuisine can be tasted here. Ordering nicely cooked monkfish, chicken and birria is a nice experience here. Most guests recommend trying good pan dulce, biscuits and flans. Delicious wine, cordial or tequila are what can make you return to this restaurant. A lot of visitors order great cafe de olla, horchata or hot chocolate.
Come here with children, Los Chilaquiles provides an varied kids’ menu. This place is recommended for the accommodating staff. The prompt service is something these restaurateurs care about. According to the visitors' opinions, prices are attractive. There is a nice ambiance and spectacular decor at this spot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I expected something different, the size of the servings are little compared to the price of the dishes. My dad had Chilaquiles and he asked the waiter if that was the adult plate, the serving was really small. Overall it OK if you want to eat something different in a small portion.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just don’t go on a weekend day after church. Wait gets long. Service is always on point. Obviously any chilaquiles dish is gonna be bomb. I’d stay away from the enchiladas, too salty. They do leave out coffee and snacks to mitigate the long waits. Must-go if you like chilaquiles.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent place to enjoy a great breakfast or lunch. The food has a great flavor it is served with the right temperatures. If you are a coffee lover I really recommend you to try it! The sweet bread with nata is awesome and the corn bread is so moist and flavorful. Chilaquiles are great, they are served at your table hot but you can still feel when the tortilla chip crunch in your mouth. Los Chilaquiles Restaurant has a familiar atmosphere, and a beautiful outdoor place to eat if you feel like you want to enjoy the beautifull Guadalajara weather. Inside there is a space for the little ones to play while you still enjoy your food. In general I recommend Los Chilaquiles Restaurant for all the reasons I mentioned.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was good, service can definitely improve. Went there at around 1pm, not many people there and still took too long for the waitress to bring us whatever we ordered. I had to ask other waiters for my stuff. Something else, I couldn't understand much of what she was saying because of the mask, clearly that bothered her. Once again, food was good, not amazing as I expected, but service makes a huge difference, just so you know.
