Los Tacos de Humo - 77400 Isla Mujeres

By far the best fish tacos I’ve ever had, and I actively search out & order every fish taco I can get my hands on. Soooo happy to have found this with 3 days left to my trip! Edit** it’s 8pm and I’m back for my second order of the day. Another round of the most amazing fish tacos, this time to go, plus an order of the chefs guac. I had a beer while I waited and it was out before I was finished. 443 pesos for my order. I have no doubt I’ll be back tomorrow. And the next day. And the next.

fish tacos were great but not the mixed beef tacos w/ chicharron. the prices are a bit overrated/overpriced compared to other places (with better tacos) on the island. too bad we didn’t get the “free donut”. service was a little lackluster and slow.

This place is “easy”, they don’t bring cutlery. The service was attentive and the shrimps tacos excellent - big shrimp, with a slightly spiced mayonnaise sauce and sesame grain. They also gave us as dessert - a warm doughnut with apple, sugar and a bit of cinnamon

Wow! Wow! Wow! Love at first bite. The menu isn’t extensive but that means they specialize in the taco. We ordered the steak, pork, shrimp and fish. Plus the guacamole and my goodness they were fantastic. The price wasn’t bad either. We had a margarita and it too was delicious. The place isn’t pretentious but it truly feels family centered. All who come in are welcomed. The host was so sweet to my son. And the service was phenomenal with the staff checking in and talking with us. It is. Lovely family business and they know tacos. Ah! This place definitely hit my taco spot making up for a horrible taco experience during lunch today. And interestingly enough, we weren’t even headed to this venue on purpose this evening. The other place was closed so we decided to venue here after seeing their sign for #1 Taco. It’s not a lie. You won’t be disappointed if you really want a delicious taco. Omg…and that darn donut. I was stuffed but had to take a bite. So delicious. I would definitely return here during a future visit. I hope you find this review helpful. If so, please give me a thumbs up. Thank you.

HAVE CASH! Great place to have amazing taco! They were so nice to let me try three different taco not part of their menu! Of course their guacamole was great!

The tacos are absolutely amazing and so flavorful! I was also very impressed with the staff. They were so kind and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. I recommend them 100% and hope to go back soon!

The best tacos! We spent 6 days on the island and we went 5 times in this restaurant We tried all of their tacos and they are all delicious but the best one is certainly the fish tacos! We really appreciated the atmosphere of the restaurant and the chef will make you feel as comfortable as home If we come back to the island it will be the first place we will have to go back!

First of all this place is NOT CHEAP. But it does have air conditioning and great service. The tacos also in my opinion were worth the price and were excellent. Every person seated around me were moaning and groaning about how insanely good they thought the food was too so it wasn’t just me. I’ve honestly never been to any restaurant with so many people reacting this way. Another thing of note is the quantity of meat on each taco easily build an extra. So when I got three tacos I actually built SIX. So go enjoy some of probably the best tacos on the island!
