★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Parecen chilangos pero NO SON! estan muy masudos y aunque el sabor es rico no les llegan a la concintencia del auténtico tamal chilango. Ya van dos veces que me desepcionan
They look like chilangos but they ARE NOT! They are very massive and although the flavor is rich they do not reach the consciousness of the authentic chilango tamale. They've already disappointed me twice

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Los tamales en hoja de mazorca o elote son sin duda los mejores. Nuestros favoritos fueron los de rajas con queso. No estoy seguro de cuál es el horario de atención, llegamos cerca del mediodía pero estaban cerrados, nos acercamos luego cerca de las 5.00pm y esta vez sí los encontramos. La atención de la señora es un tanto distante, se impacienta un poco ante las preguntas de aquellos que, cómo turistas, no conocemos bien los platos.
The corn husk or corn husk tamales are undoubtedly the best. Our favorites were the slices with cheese. I'm not sure what the opening hours are, we arrived around noon but they were closed, we approached around 5:00 pm and this time we did find them. The lady's attention is somewhat distant, she becomes a little impatient at the questions of those who, as tourists, do not know the dishes well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The rajas tamal was so good. The tamales are huge and are 20 pesos each. The salsa it came with was really good too. I think it was made with habaneros. They had 4 kinds when we stopped by and we ordered one of each. The other 3 were all chicken with some kind of sauce, but the rajas was our favorite.
