★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved our stay at Lumapi! The owners, Blas and Ana are really nice and it was a pleasure to meet them. We slept so well in the middle of the jungle, rocked by the jungle noise... The candle homemade dinner was delicious, same for the breakfast! You can also cook yourself if you want and it is really convenient if you don't want to eat in a restaurant! ( Or if you have small kids like us). Nice place to chill out, close to Tulum, on the road to Coba. Unique and magical experience! Thanks Ana and Blas!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I *absolutely loved* this place. Self check in was easy, there were little instructions put right where you needed them to make sure of what you needed, so relaxing in the jungle was a breeze. The sounds of the birds, the outdoor shower that looks up to the full moon, the charming communal areas - and all at a good price!! I am definitely opting for Lumapi the next time I come to Tulum.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely gorgeous stay! Wild, quite and lifetime experience. The net is very good so we didn't have problems with any bugs or mosquitoes. Tip: google location is correct but directions that google calculates are not - entrance is little far away of the turning showing on Google maps. Just follow directions tips that owner will send you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely beautiful jungle experience. The huts are fairly well isolated although they aren't very far from each other. You'll sleep surrounded by jungle sounds and creatures so this place is not for those who are overly worried about insects and the like.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a fantastic stay at lumapi. It was a beautiful, cool, and quiet reprieve from the hot bustle of the Tulum strip. Hosts were friendly and we enjoyed our evening chats.
You're in the jungle but a short drive from the city. Enjoy a hot rain shower and a very functional kitchen to prep meals and bask in the bird songs with breakfast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice little place away for the Tulum noise. We loved sleeping in the jungle and the owner is super nice and made some helpful recommendations for our visits. The whole place is designed with ecology in mind (management of grey water, compost, solar powered...) which is a great plus. The cabanas would need a slight upgrade though (headboards so you can read in your bed, bedside table to put your stuff on, curtains for privacy... even more for the outdoor bathroom as you feel anybody coming to the property can see you). The fully equipped shared kitchen is very convenient. Expect to see a few insects (scorpions and spiders... all of them are non-dangerous and will be more afraid of you than you are of them).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staying here was a really different experience but we enjoyed it. Everything was clean and well organised. We were happy with how few bugs made it in the room which we were a little worried about. The outdoor shower was great. It was also beautiful being able to see the stars so clearly. Getting to the place was easy enough whether driving or by taxi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just a 10 to 15 min drive outside of Tulum, Lumapi is amazing! The cabanas are clean, and comfortable - there were hardly any bugs that made it into the cabana, and sleeping with the sound of the jungle and feel of the fresh air is relaxing and fun. The outdoor shower is a really fun and unique experience.
The kitchen is fully stocked and super convenient, allowing 1 fridge shelf per cabana for any groceries.
The pool and hammocks are a great way to enjoy the cool jungle evenings.
With only 6 cabanas Lumapi is cozy and really quiet, allowing for a nice relaxing evening after a day of adventure.
I would consider this stay a more "grounding" experience and one to connect with the jungle, rather than luxury as many of the Tulum Centro hotels boast, and would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a different experience and comfortable stay.
