★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Complicated to get keys. Sea-weed and the rotting smell were better or worse depending on the day. Best to have a vehicle. The cenote yal-ku was amazing and easy to walk to. The small tienda nearby was helpful for staples (no fruits/veggies).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The apartment was really small but clean and we were surprised to have maid service. We found out that another couple had rented tge same apartment for tge same time period as us. We just happened to get there first so we got the place. The other couple had friends in the complex so they had a place to stay but if we had arrived after them we would have been left with no place to go. The owner told the other couple that they had to cancel their rental agreement due to mechanical problems in the apartment...while we were staying in it. Also the couple that git screwed weren't told until they were on the shuttle to the apartment.
I would not risk renting from this owner again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed in the Luna Azul Bodega Sur. It's a cute little studio on the street side of the resort. Has a nice private patio. There are larger rooms available facing the ocean. Luna Azul is on Half Moon Bay which is within walking distance of Akumal Bay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful little beachfront condo right on the water on Half Moon Bay . The condo has everything you need for cooking meals for the family .It is justva 6 minute bike ride from the main beach at Akumal Bay . The condo is spacious and clean and I’d absolutely stay at La Luna Condos again .
