About Luna Lounge
At Luna Lounge, our philosophy is simple: Treat guests like family, serve great food, provide great entertainment and always exceed expectations.
Hugh Gaffney and Simon Lopez opened Luna Lounge in 2009 with one simple concept – to provide something fresh and different in dining and entertainment on the Riviera Nayarit. Hugh, a native of Ireland, has been living in Bucerias, Nayarit since 2006. His partner Simon, from Guadalajara, moved to Bucerias in 2007. Together, they took on the challenge to change the face of entertainment in Bucerias.
Beginning with a monthly Drag Show called the Crazy Senoritas, they slowly added more and more shows to the line-up. Now specialising in world class tribute shows as well as the hilarious Drag Show, they delight audiences daily from November to April on the Bay of Banderas. Each event is accompanied with a delicious dinner served prior to the show and full bar service is available.
Hugh and Simon have established Luna Lounge as the cornerstone for great entertainment in Bucerias and the surrounding area and along with the manager, Chelsey and the entire team will ensure you have a wonderful experience at Luna Lounge.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to the Crazy B*tches show and I was quite impressed. The food was absolutely fantastic and the show "interesting". Hilarious to note that 98% of the audience was 55-70 and from Canada!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to see the show and dinner was included. The show was great. The food and amount was abysmal.
They put three salad plates on a table of twelve. Each plate would have served two. The potatoe salad, cole slaw and pasta salad were glutinous, beige and unappealing. They were delivered at least an hour before any other food was in sight. Complaints to management were useless. This was obviously a ploy to have customers fill up on cheap food. Finally a waiter showed up with a bowl of tiny shrimp floating in a liquid and a fork that was too big to scoop out the shrimp. I could go on but I think you have the picture. This is just another of those places that are there to gouge the gringos.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Five friends and myself attended last Tuesdays show. For my first show, my friends and I were not impressed. The host of the night was quite funny, but the other two were off just about every beat. They worried more about money the whole show then the performance. The food was mostly burnt on a smokey bbq that bothered most in the audiance and two assistant cooks that stood there most of the time instead of helping with service. As a gay male I was shocked how poorly things were done by a gay couple. I do have to say the washrooms were clean and renovated. To bad the rest of venue was so run down. My personal opinion the whole venue was about money, from the moment the owner asked for donations in his opening speech. I and my friends would never recomend this to anyone, we have been staying at the Royal Decameron for almost 15 years .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had soooo much fun last night!! (Nov 24,2021)..there was plenty of food and it was ALL delicious!!!! The entertainment was great!! Funny but NOT for young ears , for sure..”Beyonce”, “Taylor Swift” , “Madonna” and more were all there, and they sounded as great as ever ? …my wife and I will definitely be going back the next time we’re in town…also the service, drinks etc…were as good as it gets
